They never do.  There is nothing illegal or improper in adjusting status after marriage  if there was no intent to stay and adjust status when he entered the US.  Many, many members here have done so without any issues. 

No, it shouldn’t be an issue. Like I said, intent was determined at POE, so CBP determined that her fiancé had no immigrant intent at the time, otherwise he wouldn’t have been admitted. Situations change all the time, that’s why AOS exists. If you take a look at other posts, you’ll see that many people have adjusted from B2 or ESTA without issues. 

They might ask questions, but if he is in the US right now, they can marry and adjust legally.

Yes and we didn’t need to pay any duty or anything like that either. I guess I was stressing for no reason!

Yes, That's normal. Nothing to worry. 

You dont have to worry because once they enter the consulate they will have to go through a thorough security check and the there's a waiting for document collection where you will be called a a window and allll your documents will be collected like the Affidavit of Support, Police certificates, etc and one the person collects all your document you will again have to wait for your turn (have to look at the screen for your token number to appear) and then you will have to go to the VO....sometimes alllll this will take more than 3-4 hours... If the appointment says 1:00pm it doesnt mean you will be interviewed at 1:00pm, it means the security will let you inside the consulate at exactly 1:00pm and what happens inside will take easily 2-5 hours because you will have to wait for people who's appointment was wayyyy before yours. so don't worry  just chill  and wish you good luck to you both and do update us about the outcome of the interview  

I sat waiting at Montreal for a couple of hours - they're just slow - nothing to worry about.

I was at the embassy in Stockholm for 5 hours, it was a loooong waiting game, the interview itself only took 5 minutes.

It's normal to be worried about a partner going the the interview for any amount of time. As for how long it's been since you heard from her, it does seem a little on the high side but nothing crazy or warranting of extra concern.
