I feel really bad when I hear stories like yours. I want to believe that if house abuse happens, it should give you the right to revoke his green card and all the benefits that he gained because of you.
Please get a lawyer. There should be a way to transfer your money to your parents or other relatives as a present, they can buy a real estate or some kind of the other property and there will be nothing to share with this moron since your bank account will be technically empty.

as far as I know DACA are not eligible neither for citizenship nor green card. AT ALL. The only option they have is to adjust their status as permanent residents is to marry a US citizen or get sponsorship through work. That's the only way that leads to citizenship is to become a LPR first. The catch starts when after the marriage you file for the green card and in the required documents you see this I-94 form, it means that DACA needs to leave the country and come back legally. Some of my friends did it, used their advanced paroles and adjusted upon the return.

kattaklizm got a reaction from Darnell in Medical check in Beijing for foreigners
    Hi everybody,
I decided to share my experience how I did health check in the third country, - China.
I decided to do it now, not waiting the interview result, because who knows what will happen after this, I'm too nervous to think about it now.
    Anyways, here is my story.
I'm Russian, but for past several years I've been living here in China, here I met my fiancé and we decided that I'll have my interview also here in the country where we met, still not sure where it was a good idea or not.
While I was searching for information about foreigners who faced the same process and difficulties, I barely could find any information.
So I hope some of you will find this post useful, nevertheless it's related to China and medical check there.
First of all in all the China there are only four medical centers where you can do the medical check that will be accepted by the Consulate, and their addresses are already included in the check list for K1 visa.
Beijing International Travel Healthcare Center: 25th floor, Jin Ao International Building, No.17 Ma Dian East Road, Haidian District, Beijing
    地址:北京市海淀区马甸东路17号金澳国际大厦25层
    Tel: (010) 64274240 / 58648801
The first tel number is a customer line and it's bilingual, the second tel number I tried to call several times but there was no answer.
After you called (010) 64274240 and choose for English you will be instructed to go on the ???? website and make an appointment. It took me a while to make out the name of the website http://www.bjciq.gov.cn/
Here on the right side you’ll see this sign
click on it and you’ll be send to the page where you can make your medical appointment.
Part two. In the medical center
it works 08:00 – 10:30 (and there are small changes in case if you do it with kids and babies)
Be ready nobody speaks English. I had my vaccination certificate from Russia, all translated into English. I hadn’t expected but, that was a problem, they said they need time to translate the names of the vaccinations in Chinese. Lucky me I have already did it, so it saved time for both of us. But it was a problem for another couple from Russia that I met that day.
The day I picked my medical report I left the proper vaccination translation “Chinese-English-Russian”. Happy staff of medical center can save time now.
According to the appointment notice you’ll get, after you set up the time, your medical report will be ready in 5 working days.
In Shanghai the report is ready within 4 day thou.

No. Marrying a USC will not help.
He's here illegally, and he really f--- up his chance at a green card by assaulting officers and resisting arrest. Even if the criminal case is dismissed, it could still be a basis to deny his green card application.

Go get a criminal lawyer well versed in immigration law.
This is a serious matter now that he is in the criminal system. He can be deported. His AOS can be denied since he will have to disclose his arrest. Aggravated assault of a police officer is not going to be overlooked. It will be considered in granting him a green card.
Alcohol is not a valid excuse to fight with the police. In your own words, he was drunk, fighting with the police, and resisting arrest.
Get a good attorney. He will need it. Expect this to cost $10,000 or more. He needs a private attorney. A public defender will try to get rid of the case ASAP by encouraging him to accept a deal without considering the immigration consequences.

I think you need to start by seeing how/if the ex-wife cited, proposed, or represented domicile or court jurisdiction for the divorce. If you can show that, the state may recognize the divorce.

Or, see if you may need a German divorce decree authenticated by a German embassy.
That response of a foreign divorce isn't legal doesn't sound right. If it was legal in Germany, then it should be final. It just sounds like something's missing, but I don't know.

    Hi there!
It is hard to judge on what exactly is going on as I only know what you wrote. What I would say is compare how she is acting now to before she was pregnant. Hormones can do some crazy things to women (I know! I have three children). I would get her to sit down and talk to her about what is going on while you are in private. Try to keep it calm and relaxed and make sure she doesn't know you are attacking. I would definitely take a step back and assess things. You just got here not long ago so maybe it's a readjustment thing? This whole thing can cause a lot of stress on people and when the stress of it isn't there anymore, it can really be hard to adjust to it. I would definitely talk to her about how you are feeling but remember she is likely to be super sensitive being pregnant as well. Try to work it out and don't give up yet. I am by no means defending her or using her pregnancy as an excuse, so please don't think that. The only one who knows if she has changed since getting pregnant is you. Good luck!

I never approved of giving relationship advice, or marital advice in that matter. But I will tell you what I tell my daughter. You are the first and foremost important person in this world, and you should be treated accordingly. You are not second best, but you first class and you deserve to be treated as such. Never settle in life because you do not think you will find better, or you do not think there will be another, or you think this all you will get or this is what you deserve. You will end up living a life of 'what if's' and sadness and longing for 'what would have been's'. God gave you one life and you deserve to live it to the fullest. You deserve to have that one man who will treat you like the princess you are. Who will give you back all the love that you give him. Who will be there in all the happy times and the sad times, who will hold your hand through it all. A man who will come home to only you. Love yourself first, never settle, and live your life to the fullest. Where one door closes, one door will always open. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live your life to the fullest. So do what you must to do that.

kattaklizm reacted to tasakchy in Citizen wife wants to sponsor family.
She can petition for her parents and since they're immediate relatives, the priority date is current and visas are available. If she petitions for sisters, regardless of age, then they will have to wait about 13 years based on the current priority dates and they can get married and have kids during that time.
Once her parents come to the US and receive their green card, they can petition for their 13 year old daughter, since she is under 21, it will take about 2 years. If they petition for their 21 year old daughter and she remains unmarried then it will take about 7 years.

kattaklizm reacted to Ksenia1985 in In transit and interview wait times
    Hi!
I believe administrative processing is nothing to be worried about at this point! Administrative processing is the most common status when they check whatever they need to check and forward it to the next step. My fiance didn't even ask about case status at NVC.
Here's a part of our timeline:
    02.13.2015 electronic NOA-2
    02.21.2015 hard copy NOA-2
    03.02.2015 received by NVC
03.03.2015 case # assigned at NVC
03.07.2015 in transit to Moscow Embassy
03.10.2015 status Ready at Moscow Embassy
    03.20.2015 status Administrative processing
    04.02.2015 Medical
    04.03.2015 Interview
    04.10.2015 Visa in hand
You can see how long it took for each step after NOA-2. We were at CSC, but times after NVC don't differ much.
Nothing about Ukraine influences K-1s, don't worry.
Now that you know your case number you check https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==
You check it as immigrant visa. And you keep checking it even after it left NVC using the same link.
USCs are allowed to attend the interview, so you guys can totally go together, but it is not a must. When I was at the Embassy only one out of 3 "brides" had her fiance with her, but all were approved.
For Russia you typicly have to wait for Administrative processing status before you can shcedule the interview (before that you will have Ready status). They send both USC and beneficiary an e-mail saying you can schedule your interview once it changes into AP. Beneficiary registers at www.ustraveldocs.com (unless already registered) and that's where you schedule it. When I scheduled mine I had time available literally tomorrow and any date in April, but you also have to schedule the medical before the interview, which was not a problem either. So on March 20 I scheduled medical for April 2 (by phone) and my interview (online) for April 3. Also, after the interview is scheduled they send the beneficiary an e-mail asking for scanned documents. They also called me, because my fiance had criminal records they wanted to send me beforehand (I knew all about it it was just DUI from long ago). They said even if I don't send scanned copies it will still be fine, but better to send them, so that they do all checks beforehand.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. The process is rather easy and should go pretty fast from this point.

Stop whining and find another job or try harder to find a joint sponsor. Being US born doesn't make you special in the eyes of the government. We all had our share of "unfairness" in this immigration process too.

Hi, sorry to hear that your lawyer messed it up. But please be aware to hire an immigration lawyer, some of them really don't know about forms that should be submitted. Before to pay money make sure that he\she knows exactly what to do and has done it before.
    1) Yes, there should be two short signed letters one from you, one is from your fiance that you want to marry each other within 90 day after her entry to the US.
    http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
Here you'll find the example of "letter of intend to marry"
2), 3) Sorry, I can't answer this question because we've never submitted this G-28 form, is it a form for RFE? If yes, then you can file it as soon as you get ready your "RFE"

It may hurt now but imagine if he had gotten to America and ran off with that other lady. Again I'm sorry to hear the pain you are going through but don't waste anymore time with him
