Questions about evidence

hello everyone,

me and my fiancée we are about to embark in the journey K1, and i would like to know

a couple things.

we have known each other for like 7 years , we started dating 3 years ago, we have

met in persone and spent time together twice and took lots of pictures, we wish to

be together for good, and i m wondering how am i going to send a 7 years worth of

conversation, not to mention phone call records...etc

do i really have to send everything i got? i mean that's really a lot ! or should I

filter out our best conversations we had by years ?

any suggestion on how to tackle this ?

THINK of this evidence more in the terms of: PRIMARY EVIDENCE and SECONDARY EVIDENCE

Example of Primary:

Airplane Itenerary confirmations

hotel confirmation

pictures together ( with dates )

Western Union receipts

Rental agreement proving joint residency ( living together )

PASSPORT stamps

Telephone logs

Affidavit of Sworn Statement ( From friends or family stating how you met and your continuing ongoing relationship ) - signed by a notary

Examples of Secondary:

Emails

Skype conversation

...... uhhhhh I am sure there is more examples.

Try to aim for as much primary evidence that you can get. Primary evidence are things that can be proven and not manipulated.

Definitely don't send everything. Select a sampling of evidence over the years. I'd suggest sending a number of photos of you guys with friends/family to show that people know about your relationship.

just send some pictures, and airplane tickets and hotels tickets if you have, thats all, its very simple take it easy and everything gonna be alright, good luck, maybe you need to wait at least 6 or 8 months before you got her k1 visa, good luck for both of you

The advice just above can be perilous when one is dealing with a notoriously difficult consulate.

I agree that this process is not something to take lightly, nor is it something you want to take a risk on. I agree that you should not send in 150 photos, but contrary to previous comments; I personally feel more comfortable providing all the evidence I can, if I have it. As someone mentioned previously, you do want to take bits and pieces that have occurred over the years. You want to paint the accurate picture that your relationship has been true and ongoing.

Under the best of circumstances, Casablanca is one of the worst consulates with which to deal. Read "Reviews: Embassy" and surf the Middle East/North Africa forum, and front-load your I-129F petition with whatever will help. USCIS will not care about this information, but it will be passed to the consulate, and the strength of evidence will go a long way toward forming the consul's impression of whether the visa should be granted or refused.

I would like to know if we can have her father and her brother and maybe other family members as co-sponsor since she's not making enough to meet the requirements of the guideline.

Yes sure, if your fiance doesn't meet the requirements you can easily sign up a family member is a co-sponsor.

Make sure that you will be asked at the embassy about this person, at least his\her name, occupation and place of living
