This will be my last comment to not further derail this post as OP received their answer- but I think it’s important that misinformation does not continue to spread and allow unnecessary deaths (or strain on the health care system)- I have yet to see a covid vaccine be the cause of death to thousands of people and ALL vaccines and drugs have side effects-  it’s sad to see someone prefer to choose death from covid over a day with body aches and chills, if they even experience side effects at all (from vaccine). All these deaths from those not vaccinated- I guess it’s Gods way of having Darwin’s theory play out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no time for those who can’t appreciate advances in modern day medicine (that’s why we have a higher life expectancy-thanks to modern medicine) or those who flood their “brains” with conspiracy theories. 

And “opinions” are what is killing us.

There’s no requirement for anyone to get a covid vaccine, unfortunately. (Unless it’s job specific) I strongly urge you to get vaccinated so this thing can stop mutating and we can go back to living “normal”. Oh and to protect our kids who can’t get vaccinated.

Do you have your NOA1 receipt number ? You can look that up online to check the status of your case. If you think it’s possible your husband withdraw the case and he’s refusing to contact USCIS himself on your behalf you may want to re-evaluate your relationship with him before you move across the world to a foreign country. I mean this with all due respect.

I really hope NVC eventually makes it mandatory for all immigrants to be vaccinated before granting them their visa. I mean if you are required to be vaccinated against measles and chicken pox, why not COVID considering it is our biggest health threat right now.
 
I understand it may not make sense to make it mandatory everywhere currently as not everyone has access to vaccines. I hope they start phasing it in by consulate. In Canada for example, we are at a point where everyone who wants a vaccine can get one, so I see no reason for not making it mandatory for everyone who interviews at Montreal.

I think most people here recognize that it's a personal choice. And hey, some people (SOME) have legitimate health issues that the vaccine may interfere with. That's between those people and their doctors. And that's totally fine. What's NOT fine is people saying flagrantly false things like, "The vaccine has killed thousands of people and it has hundreds of thousands of side effects." Saying stuff like this (especially if the person saying those things is not a medical expert and/or provides absolutely no reputable scientifically-backed sources to their claims) IS crazy.

Do you have your NOA1 receipt number ? You can look that up online to check the status of your case. This might be a great solution if not being vaccinated didn’t affect anyone else, but that’s not how contagious viruses work.

This is the answer to the question of whether opinions kill people. Yes, they do. 

More than 99% of recent Covid deaths in the US are UNVACCINATED people...... Millions and millions of us who have been vaccinated suffered no serious side effects.  I chose to get the vaccine. My wife made the same choice. 

Believe it or not, VJ even has a forum for this sort of disinformation and conspiracy theories...believe me, it's not for the faint of heart nor for the sane of mind

It restarts every time, so say you come back on 1 Dec and leave on 31 Dec, the next 6-month period counts to 30 June. If you come back before end June you’ve kept it alive.  Of course do this too much and there are concerns raised, so that goes back to my prior suggestion of making sure you keep ties to the US and go ahead with getting a re-entry permit. The more proof the better.
