  1. Have the same problem with my name change (for now close to two months) and then DMV as well. Social security office is completely useless and claims there is nothing they can do so now I am stuck in this limbo where DMV won’t issue a license in my maiden name and waits for my married name social security card and SSA is waiting for DHS to “click a button”. Extremely frustrating 😡
  2. My green card arrived yesterday! So happy to be able to start being a bit more independent again. Wishing everyone that their cases will move quickly as well
  3. Nice to see they move it from approved to card produced quite quickly! So far I only got two additional emails that there have been action taken on my case which hasn’t actually showed up in the account but guessing it was the termination of AP and EAD
  4. Can’t believe it but our I-485 was just approved today. I was getting so down again with how slow everything is going only to find out we had a bit of luck at the end. I wish everyone speedy approvals as well!
  5. Did biometrics in Philadelphia today. Came 40 minutes early and happy I did since there was a lot of people waiting already. The biometrics went smooth though and my status has already changed to being actively reviewed. Hoping for a speedy process!
  6. Finally received my NOA’s and bio appointment in the mail today. Hoping for the ultra speed approval on EAD after biometrics, keeping our fingers crossed.
  7. I applied two weeks after arrival prior to marriage. All they needed was my I-94 and my passport. After that it arrived in about 5 days with no problems. Definitely recommend getting it sooner than later because it truly helps with a lot of things (at least that was my case)
  8. From what I saw in the November 2022 filers group people have been requesting through Emma on the USCIS website
  9. If you have a job offer from a future employer that is a solid ground for an EAD expedite which would make the wait significantly slower (in most cases that is)
  10. Adding ourselves to the mix here Sent our I-485,I-864, I-131 and I-765 via FedEx on Dec 14. Delivered to Elgin, IL on Dec 16 and now to wait for the text messages and NOA to come
  11. After more than a year I can call myself lucky to be finally at the end of our visa journey (at least for a little bit before the AOS hell arises haha). Embassy - Prague, CR 12 May 2021 - NOA1 14 June 2022 - NOA2 2 August 2022 - In Transit 4 August 2022 - Case Ready 11 August 2022 - Embassy emailed my US fiancé the interview and medical information 18 August 2022 - Medical appointment 30 August 2022 - Visa Interview 2 September 2022 - Visa ready to be picked up 13 September 2022 - Leaving! I wish everyone the best in their journey. It was a long way to get here but in the end it made all of us stronger!
  12. We’re now in transit! NOA2 was June 13. Hope everyone else is going to be in transit as well soon. This journey was difficult but we’re close to the end. Hang tight!
  13. As someone who is currently going through the K1 route (got our NOA2 a week ago after 13 months of waiting), I wouldn't recommend K1 to anyone. If we knew better back then we would 100% go with CR1. We're not even at the end and we are already regretting not being smarter and looking into the pros and cons of each (there are not really any pros to K1 anymore lol).
  14. We got approved today! Yay! Just when I was getting more and more discouraged we got the good news! NOA 1 - 12th of May NOA 2 - 14th of June
