  1. Still ongoing. Kansas raid tied to 98-year-old's death in First Amendment showdown to result in criminal charges https://www.yahoo.com/news/kansas-raid-tied-98-olds-180529141.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYmluZy5jb20v&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJF127zFVS2OPNF5Y0CtC3wnul8j9rO2dOD8TEqIVWt7TJGpnewqAF8c2YSRxbsnCM9dlvg925XREibV69W-MaJJTgPJBMycIx95JObEiskiYVNnqhWfuyz_gtJxpDYw_ozZOs2FgcWEqmRGMmtl9HYb-VNUqUxOpBDT3XkhxS5u
  2. Yes, she got the standard “not enough ties to her home country” reason.
  3. I agree with the others, let the I130 go. If you have an AOS interview and they ask about it, you can explain it. Good Luck!
  4. As long as she or whoever she had fill out the DS160 did not materially misrepresent her, it should not be an issue. My now wife was denied a B2 twice and we had no problems. Good Luck!
  5. Giving this one to KK since she is the border czar/tsar. Scathing report reveals Biden-Harris admin has released dozens of migrants on terror watchlist into US EXCLUSIVE: Nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list have been released into the United States during the Biden administration, while Border Patrol agents have encountered migrants on the watch list from dozens of different countries, a new House report is revealing. "Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist who were encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, DHS has released into American communities at least 99, with at least 34 others in DHS custody but not yet removed from the United States," the report by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee, a copy of which was first obtained by Fox News Digital, says. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/scathing-report-reveals-biden-harris-admin-released-dozens-migrants-terror-watchlist-us
  6. Technically they don’t need to, but it is recommended. Mike E used to have a nice list of why they should, the only thing I can remember is that some government jobs require it.
  7. Hmm, makes sense. US didn’t keep tabs on $293 million in Afghanistan funding, audit finds Read more at: https://www.stripes.com/theaters/middle_east/2024-07-18/afghanistan-terrorist-money-sigar-14525894.html Source - Stars and Stripes
  8. No, you would have had to be a USC at the time of birth. Stay the course on the I130, but I believe after your daughter gets her visa and enters the US, she will become a USC automatically. Good Luck!
  9. You can change the current I751 to a divorce waiver, but keep in mind when you do that, you will get an RFE to provide the final divorce documents within 90 days. I would focus on completing the divorce, then submit the change to divorce waiver and provide the documents. Good Luck!
  10. You can start the process and if the I130 is approved and moves to NVC, you can let it simmer there indefinitely by accessing the case at least once a year. I do not think it would impact ESTA, but others may know better. Good Luck!
  11. Consular Report of Birth Abroad. You refer to her as your daughter, are you a biological parent? If yes, you may be able to pass on US citizenship to her through the CRBA process. If not, then you need to file the I130.
  12. Does CRBA apply for the child?
  13. I tend to agree for the future. Too bad USCIS/DoS does not have an automatic conversion of a GC to a B2 with a valid and processed I407.
  14. I second the thought of getting on a plane and coming back. If there are questions, answer them truthfully, but there is no obligation to give CBP any additional information. Good Luck!
  15. So a rebadged group like the Lincoln Project pedo enablers? Doubt it, she is not smart enough for that.
  16. Most B2 applications are decided by what is put on the DS160. The CO may or may not ask any questions regarding work experience, but if they do you need to answer truthfully. Good Luck!
  17. Poor wording on the back of the card letter. If filing jointly, do not send the I751 in before the 90 day window opens or it will be rejected. The exception is if a person is filing an I751 with a divorce waiver, those can be submitted anytime. Good Luck!
  18. Was kind of hoping Biden had decided to move to Russia.
  19. Seems like there are some protests going on. Police station firebombed as rioting explodes in Sunderland: Mobs of masked thugs ransack cop HQ, flip and torch car and surround a mosque - in fresh night of violence after Southport stabbings https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13703563/Riots-protesters-Sunderland-rallying-Liverpool-far-right-groups-fresh-wave-violence.html
  20. Yep, good progressive idea. Maryland County’s Electric School Bus Program Resulted in Millions of Dollars in ‘Wasteful Spending’ “All of the buses received during fiscal years (FY) 2022-2024 were delivered beyond the contractually required delivery date,” the OIG report stated. As a result, the school system spent “over $14 million to acquire diesel buses to compensate for not receiving the anticipated electric school buses.” In addition to the delays, many of the electric buses have been “inoperable for extended periods,” with the inspector general estimating that “MCPS should have assessed the [electric bus] contractor approximately $372,000 for failing to provide serviceable buses between FYs 2022 and 2024.” https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/08/01/maryland-countys-electric-school-bus-program-resulted-in-millions-of-dollars-in-wasteful-spending/
  21. Actually I think it is more to do with the left/Democrats being particularly unhinged and uncontrollable and just down right vulgar.
  22. Have you USC spouse contact their Senator or US House member.
  23. My wife traveled with a GC about to expire (still valid when she departed) and she had no issues. We filed the I751 in the proper filing window, and while she was away her GC expired, but she had her valid extension letter. I have never heard of an airline clerk doing anything related to six months validity, but when my wife was traveling with her extension letter, she did have an airline employee ask to keep it, luckily she had a copy to give her. You should have no issues traveling (and re-entering the US) on a valid GC regardless of how long before it expires. The CBP carrier guide does not mention anything related to a six month period, so take a copy of that with you. Good Luck! https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf
