    We also tracked my wife's travels on our own via bookings, etc. There may be a government site, but I am not sure how long it takes to get a response.     Who knows how long it will take for USCIS to move on it, but home visits are extremely rare, so it might be soon. Also, I agree, you may want to consult with a lawyer, as appearances as you described might be negative toward your applications even if explainable. Good Luck!

    You can tie the I130s together after they are approved and they both reach NVC. After one petition gets there, just wait for the second one to arrive, then submit the required documents for both, and request they be tied together and sent to the consulate together. Good Luck!

    As @Boiler stated, you can always bring more evidence to the interview. Additionally, you are just setting up the marriage, I would not expect a joint account set up a few weeks ago to have much activity. Get the package submitted.

    You should be fine. For my wife and I, when she was adjusting, we actually set her up with a separate credit union account, but I put her as a co-owner on my account, and I am a co-owner on her account, but neither is a joint account. Good Luck!

    I thought they were already closed. Regardless, KMart and Sears missed the boat as retail moved to a more online presence. Sears especially could have been bigger than Amazon if they had continued to evolve.

    Passport style photos are only required if applying for the N400 from overseas as the spouse of a U.S. service person.

    USCIS does not run that play, it would be ICE and the immigration courts. I am not really sure if USCIS employees can immediately be transferred to ICE type work as that is more of a LEO type of work. If anything will slow down USCIS more than it already is, it will be more unfettered paroles.

    Sorry about your recent predicament. Personally, I would be looking for a joint sponsor as a backup unless you can figure out how to manage the I864 on your own. Good Luck!

    So for an IR2 visa with the petitioner living overseas, the consulate will expect to see a plan for the petitioner to repatriate back to the U.S. with the eventual beneficiary. This is more common for an IR1 spousal visa, but it applies for an IR2 as well. Good Luck!

    Yes, the petitioner must always file their own I864 even if using a joint sponsor. Also, anyone providing an I864 has to show they are living legally in the U.S. as a USC or an LPR. Good Luck!

    Typically the petitioner for a family based or family reunification visa has to show plans they intend to live in the U.S. What visa class are you trying for? Do you have other qualifying relatives that can petition for you living in the U.S.?

    Then the interview should only focus on the N400 since she was already approved for the I751. Good Luck!
