  1. Was the criminal record disclosed on the application/DS160 5 yrs ago?
  2. As of 2023, about 720M males per about 689M females (they don’t count those that identify as other genders), so a ratio of a little more than 104 males per 100 females, or another way to look at it, 51.1% males, and 48.9% females which does not seem like much, but with such a large population, it ends up being huge. The bigger question is how is China’s median age trending, and I believe it is heading higher. https://www.statista.com/statistics/251129/population-in-china-by-gender/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_China
  3. Who would have thought Fetterman would become the Democrat with actual common sense.
  4. The point was he was arrested in the first place. Wokeism DEI is pretty bad here in the U.S., seems worse in places like the UK and Canada. i do love Scot Squad.
  5. I agree, it is always the cover-up that makes things worse. I believe the Boy Scouts tried the same tactic and it didn’t work out too good for them. As to someone from the UK being arrested for an opinion, there is this.
  6. A little more information of how a government just ignores their own problems. Accountability? Opinion: Alberta Health takes wrong turn on waiting list deaths Clearly, governments like to set the bar quite high for private businesses when it comes to health and safety violations. But what about when governments make a mistake? Alberta Health just took the already low bar it set for itself and eliminated it altogether. Poof. Gone. Who needs accountability anyway? Last year in Alberta, the data showed 61 patients died while waiting for surgery. A further 179 died while waiting for a diagnostic scan. In the past, when a breakdown of the procedures was provided, the overwhelming majority were non-life-saving treatments such as cataract procedures and hip operations. A patient is unlikely to die from not receiving their hip operation in time, but it certainly does affect someone’s quality of life in their final years. Waiting for a hip operation in and of itself may not kill you, but adapting a sedentary lifestyle while you wait for surgery just might — a lack of exercise can make health problems worse. https://calgaryherald.com/opinion/columnists/opinion-alberta-health-takes-wrong-turn-on-waiting-list-deaths
  7. Probably an older thread, but could not find it. Canada’s median health-care wait time hits 30 weeks—longest ever recorded Patients waited the longest for Orthopaedic Surgery (57.5 weeks) and Neurosurgery (46.2 weeks). By contrast, patients faced shorter waits for Radiation Oncology (4.5 weeks) and Medical Oncology (4.7 weeks). The national 30 week total wait is comprised of two segments. Referral by a GP to consultation with a specialist: 15.0 weeks. Consultation with a specialist to receipt of treatment: 15.0 weeks. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2024
  8. Watched the first 30 seconds and can this Bulwark guy be any further up Kamala's behind (figuratively speaking of course). If the last four years have taught us anything it is the complete and utter incompetence of the regressive left in governing.
  9. Isn't the UK spending more time sending people to jail for anti-woke social media posts? Didn't they leave Jimmy Savile alone for years? I think there is enough groomers to go around, and certainly the Catholic Church with its archaic rules for priesthood was a magnet for groomers, one could say the same thing about the Boy Scouts being a target rich environment. Criminals will take what the system gives them, and it appears the Pakistani groomers are being given a lot of leeway right now for the wrong reasons.
  10. Each entry on a B2 or ESTA/VWP is at the discretion of US CBP. Short visits are recommended, and don't show up at the border with all your worldly possessions until you have your IR1 in hand. That being said, many spouses visit while the I130 is being processed, and if the consulate does accept your request for DCF, your process will not be very long for you. Good Luck!
  11. Sounds like your only way back to the US is if the legal system dealing with your case feels the need to extradite you for the warrant/parole violation.
  12. I tend to agree, China is not very receptive to external immigration as first the Han culture is somewhat racist to other non-Han peoples, and second, IMO, the CCP sees external immigration as a potential threat to their power. China does have a lot of people right now, but their demographics are changing rapidly. Their failed one-child policy is a factor, and now as the countries economic growth progresses, raising children, particularly within their mega cities, is quite expensive. Sure it will be long after my time on this planet, but India has already overtaken China for population, and China's population mean age is increasing.
  13. I agree, with @milimelo, so it is best to get the ball rolling with the US consulate ASAP. Here is a relatively recent thread that may help organizing the DCF process. Good Luck!
  14. I agree, you need to meet in person before anything can begin as that requirement is rarely waived. After that, the initial step belongs to the USC as they will need to file an I129F to get things started (they will need some documents from you such as your birth certificate, any marriage certificates and divorce decrees, etc.). You as the immigrating fiancé will not actually apply for a visa for some time after that, and during that time you can visit more if possible and collect evidence of your ongoing relationship. While researching the K1, you should also look into the spousal visa process. The spousal visa is much more superior than the K1 especially for the immigrating spouse. Btw, it is good you found VJ prior to actually beginning the process as there are a lot of resources and many many helpful members willing to help you out. Good Luck!
  15. As @OldUser stated, you should almost treat this as a new marriage even though it is not. She should visit you as often as possible while the I130 is processing. You also need to make sure you have the total story straight as to the history of the marriage as it will most likely be asked about. Good Luck!
  16. So the illegitimate son of Fidel Castro is calling it quits. Seems to be a lot of global pushback on Leftist regressive leaders. Don't worry, the Right leaning parties will most likely screw things up. Justin Trudeau resigns as Canadian prime minister https://www.bbc.com/news/live/clyjmy7vl64t
  17. A companion analysis of this one. It is amazing how woke the British government has become, and it is not all from the Labour side. How is it people get arrested for an online post, but they cannot talk about pedo rings within the country. British Elite Seem Angrier at Elon Musk than About Migrant R@pe Gangs They chose to sacrifice women for political correctness. So much so that they arrested parents and activists who were fighting to stop the abuse and punish the abusers rather than protect the citizens they had sworn to protect. Police went so far as to accuse young girls of consenting to be raped rather than to pursue the rapists. There aren't two sides to this story. There was a conspiracy to cover up the most heinous of crimes. Nobody even denies the basic facts, but there has been no accountability. Many of the rapists are still in the same communities in which they committed the crimes, even years after having been convicted and barely punished for their crimes. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/01/06/british-elite-seem-angrier-at-elon-musk-than-about-migrant-rpe-gangs-n3798516
  18. I guess I was speaking more of migration from outside of China.
  19. My wife has traveled like this for years. The key is booking the tickets in the name on the passport you are using for travel and keep a copy of your marriage certificate with you. In the 4-5 years before my wife naturalized, and used her Russian passport to travel and GC in her married name to re-enter the US, no one ever asked to see our marriage certificate even when looking at the passport and GC with different names. Now that my wife also has a US passport, we now use that for travel and she only uses her Russian passport to enter and leave Russia. Changing one's name in a Russian passport is a big pain, so my wife has no plans to do that. Good Luck!
  20. Your spouse, who is filing to remove conditions, will put there name in that box. You will sign the next section as you are filing as a married couple (i.e. jointly). Correction, the USC spouse will fill out their name in that box of section 8. The caveat is (if applicable) in the statement so more than likely USCIS will not call the USC spouse for biometrics, but they can. Good Luck!
  21. Since you are now married and will presumably file taxes jointly for the 2024 tax year (I am assuming you married in 2024) maybe it would be best for you to submit an I864A as a household member and let your USC spouse fill out her I864 using her own income. Good Luck!
  22. Hmm, not just a U.S. problem. Home Office refuses to release grooming gang deportation data despite backlash over scandal blighting Britain The Home Office insists that it will 'do everything' to ensure serious foreign offenders are deported, but has declined to reveal the specific figures for convicted groomers. Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman has called for a 'zero tolerance approach' to the deportation of foreign child sex offenders. She said: 'We need to have a zero tolerance approach when it comes to deporting those foreign nationals who have been found guilty of these heinous crimes.' However, a Home Office source said that the number of foreign criminals being deported from the UK dropped under the Conservative government. It comes as Sir Keir Starmer prepares to mount a defence of the grooming gangs scandal amid mounting pressure for a public inquiry. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14254025/Home-Office-refuses-release-grooming-gang-deportation-data.html
  23. If that is the case, then why aren’t people flocking to China?
