Dear Family, For update, I sent my wife to Nairobi, Kenya to apply for police clearance but the DCI Headquarters in Nairobi told her that they can't give her the certificate because she came to Nairobi with a visitor visa and only residents can get a police clearance certificate. So I sent an email to the consul of the US embassy regarding the situation. Waiting for the next ....😪

Hello again, I am about to fill out the I-864. I do have 2 children from my previous marriage. And one child with my current wife that I am sponsoring. but all the 3 children have already their US passports. Do I need to put my children on part 5: Sponsor's Household Size? The 2 children from my previous marriage will come after 2 years maybe and only the third one will come together with her mother( my current wife that i am sponsoring).

she get the background when she was in Kenya. I hope that is possible to do it online. Kenya doesn't have an embassy or consul in Madagascar.

I am really confused, I don't know what to do. My wife is in Madagascar now, that is mean she needs to go to Kenya to do it?

Thank you so much for the clarification but the number 2. Kenyan police certificate .. the affidavit provided is apparently not as required Recheck the guidelines for translating and certifying, I don't understand what does mean the affidavit. this police certificate was written in English because Kenya speaks English so I didn't have to translate it again into English. that was the same one that I sent to NVC and they accept it so I don't know what the consul need.

Dear family, My wife has her interview today but the consular refused to give her the visa because some documents missing. They give her a piece of paper that she needs to bring but the consular write with his hand and I can't understand what he wrote so I need your help who can read it. Also, there is a police certificate from Kenya that they refused but that is the same document I sent to NVC and they accepted it. please see the attached file and help me with everything you can.

For update, I received the CBRA and passports for my kids. Now I need to get the SSN. But they asked me to certify each document so my question is: 1) Does the CBRA from the US-embassy is already certified or do I need to go back and I asked them(us embassy) to certify? 2) My wife, is in Madagascar but the NVC asked her to go to Nairobi for the visa ( we still waiting for the appointment yet), so can I ask NVC to change the country for the visa? I mean to transfer our appointment from Nairobi to Madagascar? I don't really know why they send her to Nairobi and we supposed to go to Madagascar.

Ah ok. I am going to bring them for the summer here in the US. Maybe I need to wait until they come here

I just received an email from the US embassy in Madagascar regarding my question: It's complicated. even if my kids come to the US but I still need to contact US Embassy in Paris? or just it's because they are out of US?

Thanks for your answer. I already pass the interview last week and I am back to the US. Last week I bring my kids to Madagascar and we passed the interview then I sent my kids back home and I am in the US so should I write them for the SSN?
