After you receive your NOA2, you have to wait for like 2 weeks to 3 after then USCIS will send your package to NVC..... when NVC receives,  it will take like 1 weeks for them to assign a case number.
When did you receive your NOA2?

CEAC is saying issued for us too as of this morning! yay! I wish everyone else the best of luck and smooth sailing from here ❤️

K1 visa approved after first interview for 221G for more evidence.

Our interview is tomorrow morning and anxiety and excitement is at an all time high 😰 Reading the reviews has helped a lot.

We got the K1/K2 Visa on Jan 9th and we entered the U.S. on Jan 9th as well.  U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou did us a huge favor and expedited our case as my fiance's daughter was turning 21 on Jan 11th.  With this being a stressful process already, it was turned up to 11 with this deadline.  I've been away from this site for a while as I was in China to be support for the final process as well as to help pack.  The interview (Dec 30th) went well except my fiance's divorce document was missing a notary stamp.  We had a mad scramble to get that fixed. On Jan 7th we saw that the Visa was approved. In the afternoon on Jan 8th, the tracking for the passport said "Passport returned to Post" We didn't know what that meant. We discovered that it had returned to the consulate to fix a mistake. We went to the Consulate on the morning of Jan 9th. and got the passports with the visas.  We flew to the U.S. that evening.  We went through Customs in San Francisco.  The custom officer was rough on my fiance.  He was very rude and asked questions like how many fiance's do you have? It was rough to take after the long flight.  He also wanted proof of relationship.  I had not done my research on this.  Our evidence that was used at the interview was packed.  My fiance showed the officer pictures on the phone and WeChat conversations.  The officer just replied "That's all you got".  After taking longer than it should, my fiance and her daughter were let in the country. We had made it.  Before this China trip for the Interview, I got a lot of great information on this site. I want to thank all who share their stories and answer questions in this forum.  I don't know if we would have made it without the information that is available on this site. Thanks!!!
 
 

On 24 February 2013, my wife and I began our visa/citizenship journey by filing for a fiance visa.  After suffering the incredible bureaucracy of the visa, green card and naturalization processes, my wife was finally sworn in as a US citizen on 22 January 2019.  We twice suffered the disappointment of having to provide additional evidence of our relationship, but for the most part it was submitting the forms and waiting for the results.  One thing in our favor towards the end was that my wife was eligible for an expedited citizenship due to the fact that I was transferred to an overseas assignment for the US Government.  It sped up her citizenship process by about six months to a year.  I cannot express enough my appreciation to the VisaJourney web site and all the site's participants for getting us through and over all the hurdles of obtaining my wife's entry to the US and eventually her citizenship.  To all who are beginning this journey take heart and have patience.  The bureaucracy seems daunting, but just keep submitting those forms and applications and it will all come together in the end.  Your fellow VisaJourney members will arm you with everything you need to succeed.  Best of luck to all in their visa journey.

We had the interview today and got approved!

Had my interview today at the US embassy in Madrid and got approved!! It was really smooth and fast. Everyone was also really nice. It probably lasted about 3 minutes because I only got asked a few questions. I’m so glad this process is nearly over. I won’t believe it til I actually have my passport in hand though!! 

In an unexpected change of events, the embassy called my fiance today and said upon review, no further documentation is needed. They instructed him to go to embassy with passport tomorrow for visa processing! We are very excited!!! Thanks to all who have helped and answered messages! Especially @Asif & Misty, @Greenbaum @MichaelB265 !

I just called and got mine today! . Arrived at the NVC on the same date As you! After seeing your news, I decided to try again because I called yesterday and they gave me the same bull about still working on November. Called at 8:05 am est and held for 1 min. 

Our case just got approved today!!! Finally!!! Anyone still waiting prayers to you.

Yes I called them about 5 times sent 3 emails but finally recieved email with interview date this morning. Thank you

Thanks all. Update on this - I had sent a couple of emails and they replied and called on the 30th saying that it wasn't ready for interview, so had to move it. They clarified that although they had received everything electronically, it had still not arrived physically.
 
I used the DHL tracking tip this morning and see that it arrived there this afternoon, so very hopeful that it will be processed quickly. 🤞

I just wanted to let everyone that my visa journey is finally complete! I was able to bring her home and we arrived without any difficulty on December 30th. From start to finish, it has been an agonizing 26 months, particularly the last 19 months when my fiancee was stuck in Nicaragua. I doubted that this day would every come, after being trapped in the black hole of administrative processing for 17 months.
