Jo Së got a reaction from NancyNguyen in Denied Visitor Visa Extension
She does not need to seem an immigration lawyer because she is not immigrating, she is only visiting. The only thing that she needs to do is exit the country within the time given in the letter of denial.

Jo Së got a reaction from caly in I-751 Submitted but possible divorce happening
As long as you entered your marriage in good faith you can remove conditions on your own if you get divorced.

Jo Së got a reaction from aaron2020 in Confused I-134 or I-864?
For the K-1 visa interview you need to bring the I-134 Form provided by your fiancee and one co-sponsor. The I-864 will be required once you are married and applying for AOS.

Jo Së got a reaction from bluebook14 in The word "gringo" is offensive. Please stop using it
Gringo is definitely not a slur, is a term, mainly used in Spanish-speaking countries to refer to an English-speaking foreigner, especially an American person or, in Brazil, to refer to any foreigner. The term is, in and of itself, not derogatory. When people use the word gringo they do not use it in a negative way.
The N-word is a hateful racial slur, and gringo means, well, white person, or American, or foreigner, depending where you are at, but it’s NOT a pejorative term, is about as pejorative as “Yankee” or “Americano” or any other non pejorative label.

Jo Së got a reaction from Eric & Idalia in Cold Feet and Second Thoughts
I don't want to bring up anything bad, but you should go back to that one post you made, you know, that one that got out of control, and read some of the good advice that was given to you, you will see that a lot of it will start to make sense.
Follow your gut and do not make any decisions without being sure of what you are doing.
I wish you luck!

Jo Së got a reaction from wittyamber in Interview Next Week - beneficiary has new passport number
Simply inform them at the interview that beneficiary has renewed his passport, take the expired one with you as well just in case they ask to see it. However it should not be an issue, happens often.

Jo Së got a reaction from Terri Sellay in we need to do something, so hurtful and unfair (tsc)
There is nothing you can do to change the process and you have to learn to deal with that. The more you compare your case with other cases the more frustrated you are going to get, that is not healthy for you.

Jo Së got a reaction from AllanGrace in I-134 Requirements
I think you are sending a bit too much, do you not meet poverty guidelines? If you do, all you need to send is employment verification and bank statements, the rest is not needed,

Jo Së got a reaction from Shauneg in Proof of relationship question
Proof of having met within the last 2 years is what they want, not proof of ongoing relationship.
I sent copies of boarding passes, passport stamps and a couple of pictures of us together.
You are definitely sending way more than enough.

Jo Së got a reaction from Jacque67 in Amanda from Bucharest Embassy denied my friend a VISA because of her beauty
Do you not realize that you are being lied to by this "friend" of yours about her embassy experience. Seems like she had you believe all this so that you can symphatize and somehow fall into helping her somehow if you aren't already doing so.
Very unlikely for someone to refuse a visa based on their beauty.
Very unlikely that "Amanda" would assume that your "friend" was just looking for a rich husband.
Very unlikely that "Amanda" would suggest local celebrities for someone to date.
This sounds all made up and somehow you seem to have believed it all to the point that you are "boiling in your skin out of anger".... 1 or 2 years after the fact.

Jo Së got a reaction from meaganb in Do you get interview notice online first or receive the interview appointment letter in mail first
The case status will update and say that the interview has been scheduled, but it will not tell you the date. You will receive a notice letter shortly after stating the date and place of interview.
