So here's what they told us during my oath ceremony on 2/18 since we missed the due date to register to vote for the primary:

    1) You can go for Early Voting. You will register to vote there (so you don't have to register during the Oath ceremony), or -
    2) You can register to vote during the oath ceremony and will be able to vote on Nov. You will unfortunately miss the primaries though.

But either way, you cannot register to vote until you've taken your oath. You are still not considered a US citizen before the oath.

I just checked my status online and they've already scheduled me for my ceremony on Feb 18!

My interview was on 1/28 and I got the notification about my oath ceremony on 1/29. They're moving pretty fast

I submitted on Oct and completed biometrics on Nov too.
Below is my timeline. You can see when they sent the interview letter vs the interview day itself.

It also used to say case completion was May 2020 but I don't see that on my online account anymore.

I think they'll ask 10 questions out of the 100 civic questions and will stop at 6 if you got them all correct. You don't need a tablet for this. The IO will read these questions to you while s/he updates your progress on his/her screen. The reading test is just a short sentence which you will read from the tablet. Mine was "Do you know who can vote?" As for the written test, this is also randomize (I'd assume so since mine doesn't really answer to the above question) and you'd be writing it on the same tablet with a stylus. Mine was "Delaware was the first state".  You'd be requested to print it out/write legibly  You'll also get asked the "Yes/No" questions on your application. Sometimes they'd stop and ask if you know the meaning of a certain word/phrase. My IO stopped at the last question something about natural disasters and asked if I understand what that means.  Throughout your whole conversation with the IO, s/he will judge your ability to speak and understnd English - small talks won't hurt. My IO was really friendly and reassuring when I told him I was nervous.

I think if you aren't changing your name then it'll be at the Charlotte field office, if you change your name it has to be judicial.
Mine is Thursday at the field office

Had the interview today, she approved me.
for those wondering, learn the 100 questions they literally ask a few of them. Speaking test is the interview and you need to write and write one sentence. Honestly if you use the booklet you cannot fail. She still needs to approve the ROC, my F-129 envelope was missing for months so that was why that was never done. She was going to do it all after I left. whole thing took like 45 minutes

So funny that I have purple hair right now and that's what I put on my form for my biometrics under "Hair Color". The security and I both had a good laugh about it

Just sat for my interview today and was approved. I just can't believe my journey since 2012 (since I petitioned for a fiance visa) is about to end soon!
Now just waiting for the Oath Ceremony to be scheduled.

Just had my interview today - The Officer mentioned that my naturalization cert will have my picture from the biometrics.

He asked if I'd be disappointed because I had black hair in that picture, rather than my current blonde hair 🤣

hi, you will have to go to a Global Entry enrollment center to have them delete your GC and add your US passport as the primary ID document.

GE offices do this change on a walk in basis, no appointment needed, except apparently for the NY Bowling Green one. I did mine at JFK airport.

Although other changes to your profile can be made on the trusted traveler website, GC to US Passport is considered a significant change that only a GE center can do in person.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Updates....

I did go back to update my documents and checked online.  I have United States with the gold flag under “Citizenship”.  The green card was deleted under the “Permanent Residency” section but in the “proving you may enter the United States.” section, i still see the unexpired green card.  The agent said he can’t delete it but assured me I am all set and won’t have issue using Global Entry.

Just an update on this: I received the NOA dated 7/18 of approval AT my current address. So I don't need to worry about the "address change" update on egov site.

"address change" maybe just like "name change" update,  we read it by the wording, but uscis may have different meaning for it

    @AliaAlia congrats!!!!

What is the date of the update "change of address"? Yesterday I called USCIS to check on my case (still pending) and the latest thing they could see was a "change of address". I did change my address but more than 3 months ago and the update they saw was dated 06/26...  :-(

Apparently this notice is indication that you've been approved and card will be shipped shortly.  Others have commented on this too.  No need to worry.  Guess its just a glitch within their system.

So as promised, I wanted to follow up on this.
Getting stamp was easy. It took an hour and a half. Officer explained, that generally Mondays are busy.
They said even if you don't get your stamp before extension letter expires, your status will not and you can get stamp any time.
Keep in mind that unlike the letter, the stamp will not extend conditional green card by another year, but rather it will give one more year starting from the day it was stamped.
Also officer mentioned that they can see address change but most recent address is my original address. To clarify, I have not changed or intended to change the address, so maybe another hickup in the system.
I urge everyone not to worry, and get stamp upon necessity. Apparently you can even travel with it.
