  1. @sls Thank you for sharing your experience. Probably was an honest mistake but since you declared it on N400, you came out as an honest person. If your tax returns show you earned substantially more than $8K, the source is already there and justified. I wish you all the best. PS: There are people with criminal convictions & charges who have also become citizens before.
  2. @debbiericardo It's time for you both to sit down and have a conversation. Maybe have your best friend/relative beside you when talking to him. Sometimes marriages just don't work the way we want them to. You have shown courage by reaching out to this community and I know you will be able to decide your future by talking to him. Wishing you all the best.
  3. @Anum Fahed Hi. Here are some points: Pending i751 will probably be processed first during your N400 interview so don't worry about it, just have all your documents with you, It's best to mention all addresses even if outside the US, It's best to mention all education and work history, even if outside the US, Since you didn't go outside US, you don't have to mention any trips before that as this question is very specific. Wishing you all the best. I am sure some senior members will validate the information you need.
  4. @MadMax101 i noticed some blank responses on my application as well when I saw the snapshot but it wasn't an issue. However, you do have a lot of questions unanswered. The officer will most probably fill these in for you during interview Wish you all the best.
  5. Doesn't that make almost all AOS illegal then? i am just talking my mind
  6. I thought getting a US tourist visa when you don't have one, to arrive in US and adjust status could be considered a fraud. When one already has a tourist visa, then they can adjust status as that's the option given by USCIS?
  7. @KIEth Congrats for getting over with the interview. I had the exact same result and case was approved in 2 days. Best wishes.
  8. I meant before the move since I was in Palo Alto, the last zip code serviced by SF office. You can file for address change within 10 days of moving. I filed after I moved.
  9. @SFO-Jan Congratulations on buying a home in bay area!! The move from SF to SJ was absolutely hassle free. Before moving, the SJ office was 15 minutes away but SF was more than an hour away, so it helped a lot. They changed my address in 11 days and they also sent my interview notice with it. If you are talking about the forms, use the address change form AR11. This can be easily done online. Link: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do Wish you all the best.
  10. @corvusheart I can't speak for all locations but here at Campbell, CA we were told to sign and keep the paper ready for inspection by officer. There were four lines and a total of 450+ applicants, so yes, you can be one of those who sign when the officer is right there in front of you as well...
  11. @corvusheart you can fill it anywhere and please sign it and keep it ready for the officers to quickly verify it.
  12. Great!! That gives us time for brunch - Appreciate your response.
  13. Hi @Kitti Do you mind sharing your oath experience? Thank you.
  14. @nikha thank you for the valuable insight on all points. I will have my friend with me so we will make sure to get there early :)
