Imperium got a reaction from MASH in USCIS Legacy Account
If anyone happen to ever had USCIS's legacy account, I suggest they keep it active or restore their access to it and add their N400 case there. I have been testing and noted that alerts of case events appeare to be far more accurate and in real-time. Though it lacks features such as access to PDF notices etc,  its notification capability is phenomenal. Forexample, as soon as I finsihed my interview and finished the checklist of Oath on a tab, I had received an sms that  "We recommended that your Form N400; Application for Naturalization be approved."
I feel like it is better than having to keep refreshing myuscis account.

    ***UPDATE***
I have recieved a notification of Oath Ceremony schudule on my USCIS account. The PDF copy also lists that address of the FO as the location of Oath Ceremony. As few people suggested, it appears that this USCIS FO administers Oath onsite.

Thank you everyone for your insight.

Imperium got a reaction from FranckDernoncourt in Can changing one's address within the same USCIS field office delay one's US naturalization application?
What matters most is what stage are you at in your naturalization process. CLAIMS4 (formarly RNACS) system is hard coded to delay a notification once SORN system trigers existence of a new event. It is automated as in it reactivates the notification once the event is completed. At this point, it will send notice with new address.

Imperium got a reaction from Family in Question regarding EBT Benefits.
He is not eligile for federal mean-tested benefits, however, you are eligible. Signing of an Affidavit of Support only covers initial 5 years of LPR. One of the conditions of SNAP is that applicant must have been an LPR for five years. Exceptions apply in case an applicant falls within a federally protected class.
    Read Section 403, subsention b and c.

What do you means by EBT? EBT is just a card, it is like a debit card, what mean-tested benefit are you seeking?

So you're looking at the wrong location. Your ceremony will be held at a USCIS facility at 1pm, not at a court house at 10am.

    hi
needs your Oath ceremony to be held at the Courthouse? most of the ceremonies are held at USCIS office unless it  is needed to be done by a judge like if you are requesting a name change. I think there is no mistake when you arrive they only allow you to attend at the time shown in your invitation but if it makes you feel comfortable  ill would also arrive at 9;45 am at the Courthouse but honestly if you were to attend at the Courthouse your invitation should say Courthouse

    Congrats!

    Ah well that changes everything.

Go to your appointment at the specified time and place.

If there are oath ceremonies for people adjudicated at your field office at the court house and oath ceremonies also at the field office then this suggests to me the former are changing their names as part of the naturalization process

Or the court house oaths are for a different field office.

Several uscis field offices administer oath on site so your oath could literally be held in the field office and not in a court house. Showup for 10 am oath at the court and if you are not on the list, appear for 1 PM oath at the field office.

Plan to be there early (9 or 9:30am) and clarify with the clerks at the court.
Rather go early and be told 1pm is correct, than miss the correct time if it is earlier

I have prior arrest related to post 9/11 JTTF sweep leading into lengthy and complex removal proceedings. IO's line of questions attempted to reach as far back as 2001-02. My A-file was hauled in on a trolly, you can now imagine how complex it has been. Apart from that, some civic questions were of a different nature such as "What is vote" and "Why one vote" etc.
Recognizing the complexity of my case, I believe the officer was an incredibly professional and nice. They did not make me feel uncomfortable while also performed a quality review.

    Greetings,
I had my N400 interview today, thankfully my application has been granted and an oath is schudule next week.
Interview lasted about 30 min because I have a complex immigration history.
A IO prompted the civic questions as follow,
    Who is your US Congressman?
We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years?
Who is the father of the country?
Under our Constitution, some powers belong to the states. What is one power of the states?
There are four amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them.
IO then prompted to ask a follow up question, "Why do citizen vote?"
What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?
What is one reason colonists came to America?
There were 13 original states. Name three.
Then the IO asked me to read, Franklin Roosevlt was President during the WW II.
Officer then congratulated me and gave me a schudule for oath cermony.
Thank you everyone for all the incredible guidence. I wish success to everyone who is still waiting in the line.

With the current backlog, it will be a long time before someone at USCIS gets to take a look at her file and put genuin effort to solve it. Best course of action would be Sarah visiting the local office to clear up discrepencies. OP has not shared what was the basis of denial cited by the USCIS on N-652.
In Nov of 2016, an audit of OIG founds that between July 2013 and May 2016, USCIS wrongfully issued more than 5000 Green Cards. The issue was rooted in the implementation of ELIS system and eventually resolved, the agency and its adjudicators refused to take responsibility of this mess and denied subsequent benefits. This led up to several cases going to AAO, BIA and Cir Courts. While that topic is beyond the scope of this post, Sarah may very well be among that pool.

As for Sarah holding a ten year I-551 Card, at the inception of ELIS and prior to that, I-90 has been used to bypass administartively closed removal proceedings or ROC. There was a lag in the system and it was exploited intentiionally or unintentionally, however, it remains wrong and unethical. AS for Sarah, I am of the openion that USCIS will also be looking into Sarah's case to determine first, if I-90 was used to intentionally bypass the system.
