I think that was the problem.
But do you think that you might have been part of the problem? Don't mind me, just thinking out loud.

Why does a grown man need his parents?
    Can't he stay with friends?
Can't he get a job in Canada to support himself?
Seems more reasonable to stay in Canada and find a way to support himself rather than live with his parents IMHO.
Every couple has to deal with the separation. Consider yourself fortunate that he's Canadian and can visit you during the K-1 process.
It extremely unlikely the process will be completed in 6 months. It will be impossible to extend his visit with a pending K-1. You can count on him spending several months in Canada during the process if you do not intend for him to overstay on his visit.

Glad to see everyone here giving this girl a dose of reality. When I first read her post my thought was, "OMG if my 17 1/2 year old daughter told me she was going to Egypt to marry I would lock her up somewhere". Suffice it to say, Egyptians in general (not saying all) are well rehearsed on what to say to make you believe that you are the love of their life and that fate has brought you together (or God or Allah or whomever). When you said you were considering converting to Islam the alarm bells starting ringing again. I forget who said it, but someone said that you should tell him that you insist on living in Egypt forever and see what he says. I don't want to be negative nelly but I can't help it. Some of us have been on here a LONG time and have TONS of experience with the culture and it's men. Some women here have wonderful marriages that are everything and more than they though they would be. Others have been horribly abused, traumitized and defrauded and will never be the same. I thought I too had it all figured out when I met my husband and I had some age AND experience on you AND 2 college degrees and I still was not prepared for the reality of it. I can tell you that my husband has been sorely disappointed to find out that you have to work your A** off to get ahead and that his degree and work experience doesn't mean squat. He's also had to deal with the fact that his wife makes triple his income and IS financially the breadwinner. He thought America was perfect and he can't believe that we pay so much in taxes, that many cities are riddled with crime and so on and so forth. Sad to see their ideal picture of Nirvana shattered. My husband won't even go back home to visit because he doesn't have a million dollars saved and a new BMW to drive. I am just grateful that kids weren't even an option for us. That's a nightmare I don't even want to contemplate. That being said, my husband is not a bad person, he has a lovely family, but in my honest opinion he should have married someone in his own culture. That may sound harsh but I am being honest. I am a very independent woman and I don't play the damsel in distress role and quite frankly, that doesn't sit well with the hubster.

Ummmm, for CSC, by the way they have been processing July/august NOA1s, a september NOA1 is not likely to get their NOA2 soon.

I'll let you make your own judgement from this info.
    From the USCIS website

From timelines here and me entering data

To me it's pretty clear there is a direct connection between the CSC and DACA. Just as DACA got really going in October, K1 NOA2's here on VJ fell off to almost nothing. CSC has had slow periods before but nothing like this. If you can show me on the timelines here or anywhere else a worse 5 month period, I'd love to see it.

Those rockets fired at random targets out of Gaza may have had something to do with the situation you describe including the precision strikes if thats what you call them.
You can take up the actions of Israelis with the U N after you consider the country was created by the USA where the UN offices happen to be.

Happened to mine too. Eventually it just stopped.
My recommendation is to have sex more frequently. It won't affect the hair loss, but that's unimportant.

When I read comments like this, I always think about this article: http://thestir.cafemom.com/love_sex/128932/loving_the_husband_more_than
and truly realize which situation is superior...
Besides that, the adult in the household should be the main benefactor for the reasons stated above...you can always set up a trust should you want a portion to go to your children.

Another thing I would like to add is that schools will most likely ask you to repeat everything because of many reasons:
    1. They don't know what your course name means
    2. They make more money that way! The more courses you take, the longer you are in school and the more tuition you pay
My advice is to bring with you, aside from a TOR, a course description from your school. Make sure each class has a description on what it covers. UP has a document like this, I'm not sure of other schools. I remember an incident when my current adviser almost made me take the undergraduate statistics class because he said he had not seen it on my transcript. I then told him that my MATH 1 class did tackle statistics, and showed him the course description. After that he just said that I was in the clear. So sometimes little things like that can affect your chances, and if you don't fight for it then you'll end up wasting time and money.. If you can get that document then grab it. Together with the WES you will have bigger chances of getting things transferred

Your right, I did miss post 6, and if I had not, I could have saved you page after page of mindless Google cut and pastes and embarrassingly painfully wrong assertions about a subject that you could not grasp. It took about 2 minutes to read the poster who said he was turned down for a tax transcript to easily determine, he was turned down because he did not meet basic elegblity requirments for income in 2010, so was asked to submit proof of his 2011 income. If he had time to file it and get transcripts for the IRS for 2011 that would have been fine for evidence.
As I said earlier. I don't have any axe to grind with you expect that you regularly post misleading information, that I don't think serves to help make the process easier for people.

My fiance is a lot younger than me, better educated than me...she has a 4 year degree, vs 2 for me, and she is exploring med school when she arrives here. She is also a RN, very beautiful and is not desperate for me or any man. She and I have many common interests and both enjoy life to the fullest, our age diff is just numerical.
That said, I take offense to Enigma's post and find it insulting....I will say that I have found, in most instances, people with such a narrow minded opinion are usually older women, or old guys who can't get a younger woman, or are with an older woman and are a bit jealous...but thats my 2cents.
IMO, live and let live, everyone else can bite me.
