Good day to all! I have some questions about the timeline or how long it will take to get your interview notice. Here s some information and timeline for your reference

11/12/2019: I-485 receipt date, as of today the status says " will schedule for interview" - it's been like that since Jan.2020

12/09/2019: Biometrics

2/19/2020: EAD and AP card received

09/11/2020: I-765 ( Employment Authorization application), receipt date for EAD/AP renewal

1/29/2021: per USCIS case status online check: "Case is already scheduled for interview". As of January 21, 2020, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC2090*****, for an interview. It's been like since last year.

** for my social security card, They didn t send it to me yet ( almost a year now). I called the SSA office several times, put on hold for several hours and had no luck, until this month (January) a good guy finally accommodated me and scheduled an appointment for me to apply it at the local social security office in person next month (2/17/21). He said my ss number has already been provided but the card was not processed yet.

So here's some of my questions and hopefully someone can help me here:

1. For EAD card, have you got your interview before your EAD expires? My EAD will expire 2/19/21 but we submitted the renewal already.

I have friend (cr-1) who got his GC right before the EAD expires or before he receive the renewed EAD card and without interview.

2. For medical exam, as per my lawyer advise I will submit only the medical exam results once we get the date for interview. Did you do the same or submitted them before the interview date?

3. I don't know the status of my applications except looking at the USCIS case status online. Where else can you check your status? like the I-485 and EAD card renewal?

So I'm trying to get my wife a state i.d. and the requirements are pretty simple and we have them all, except for one. And that one requirement that we don't have is her Social Security #. Anyways, I have attached a screenshot of the requirement so you can read it.

It says "No Social Security Number verification letter from the Social Security Administration (Only acceptable when submitted with an Unexpired Foreign Passport with a valid, unexpired U.S. visa accompanied by an I-94)"

So, my question now is how can I obtain a verfication letter from the SSA saying that she does not have a Social Security Number?

I'm an American citizen and my Filipino wife and I were married in the Philippines Dec. 19, 2020. We both are living in the Philippines until we can get her CR-1 visa processed. The pastor who officiated the wedding made a one letter typo on my wife's name in one place on the marriage certificate he submitted to the local civil registrar (LCR). It's only spelled wrong in one place, it appears numerous other times in the correct spelling.

We found this out when we went to the LCR to receive the finalized marriage certificate, e.g. the document we would be including with our CR-1 package. We immediately filed an amendment petition to get the surname fixed, but this process can take 3-6 months before you receive the amended marriage certificate.

Do you all think it would be quicker to submit our CR-1 stuff now even with the misspelling and possibly also include the amendment petition to show that it's being fixed, and then when we have our interview we would bring the finalized certificate (or possibly risk an RFE for the amended certificate and whatever additional time that adds to the process?) Or wait 3-6 months to receive the amended marriage certificate?

We're wondering if we wait 3-6 months for the amended version or file now with what we have, get the process started, and risk the RFE. I'm not sure which situation would play out taking the least amount of time.

I submitted my wife's I-130 online in mid September. I wanted to hold on the I-485 until the physical was done and got to that in October. But the package kicked back because I didn't know it needed an I-944. In mid December I resubmitted the AOS package with the 944 and I got the receipt notice last week. It's interesting that the priority date is listed as September 17th which jives with the I-130. So maybe I didn't lose any time with all the messing around with the physical. Anyway, I tried to add the receipt number to my USCIS account but it says it's attached to another account so I made my wife an account and try to attach it there. It's ok with that except it wants an Access Code which was not on the receipt. Is that something we get later? If that's the case, about how long is it from receipt to access code?
