We finally arrived safely in Hawaii. Getting out of Manila was a mess and I was a little afraid that they would not let us fly out. My youngest son was hospitalized for 3 days prior to us leaving. He has 3 cuts in his head and probably about 30 stitches. Exactly what I did not need on this trip but I digress. Seeing the bandages on his head (like a big white headband) they wee asking about it. They said that they needed to get clearance from the PAL surgeon. After going back and forth for quite some time and me finally having to talk to them, she said she will approve him to fly. This took a little over an hour with a hyper 2 & 3 year old wanting to explore every inch of the terminal. All I can say is poor mommy. She took care of them while I filled out all the forms, showed passports, CFO, etc. We got to the airport 3 1/2 hours before our flight, and they were boarding by the time we got to the gate. The flight went pretty smooth but poor mommy had the youngest (2 1/2) in her arms the entire flight (10 hrs) and never even got up once. The older brother slept in the 2 seats between us.

Does anyone have any experience laying over at any of the Manila to USA airports this year? I'd like to plan the least stressful trip for my fiance and don't know what kind of corona restrictions they have right now. Incheon - Normally my #1 choice. Airport is easy to navigate, can get a delicious bibimbap while waiting. Haneda - Seemed like the nicer of the two Tokyo airports, has ramen and udon restaurants and attached hotel that wasn't too expensive for long layovers. I've heard that entering Japan right now is like boarding the train to Auschwitz because of the quarantine requirements but what are the rules for layovers like? Narita - Layout seemed a little more difficult to navigate than Haneda and don't remember the restaurants being as good. Taipei / Hong Kong - don't look like an option right now Istanbul/Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Doha - no just no, wrong direction around world and wouldn't feel safe as a woman alone in any of these countries

We sent the counslor a statement I prepared about my divorce 8 years ago, along with some other documents and she agreed to have another call with my fiancee on Tuesday. In the meantime, her 4yo daughter has secured her certificate. The only additional document they asked for was a copy of her birth certificate. Shortly after, they sent the link for registration and payment. As soon as payment was made they emailed her certificate.

Hi everyone. I can't seem to find in the CFO website that senior citizens are exempted from Pre departure seminar. My Mom also a senior citizen didn't have to attend the seminar 3 years ago, she just had a stamp on her passport when she arrived at the building. Has anyone or their parents(senior citizens) had recent experience. Thank you.
