Hello, Just wanted to post that, as of today, the earliest available day for K1 medical is April 19th with several times slots available and K1 interviews available to us are every Thursday at 6:30 a.m. for May, with a few 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. slots available for the April dates. Going through this process, it appears that I could have scheduled the medical appointment first to avoid having to reschedule the interview appointment. Also, SLEC, posted that Covid test not required prior to entering the building. I was going to add pictures for proof, but I am not sure how to resize them.

Hi all. I filed my AOS packet(3/15/22) and on March 16, 2022(recieved in USCIS) and NOA1 the next day after 8 days recieved my USCIS NOA1 mail. Now, my k1 visa will expire on Apr 9 and my husband will be on his weekly trip (semi driver) again in 2 weeks and wanted to bring me since ill be alone home, we travel together for a mos and a half since i arrived. Is there anything that I need to show as proof or documents to bring in case(God forbid) ask for my ID since my visa is expired in that period? Can i show them my NOA1 mail from USCIS? Thank you:)

Hello! VJ has always been such a great help so I m coming back for some guidance. My in-laws petitioned for their 19yo son in September 2019. The petition was approved in November 2020, just days after their son s 21st birthday. I believed that CSPA would protect his age for 14 months while we waited for the NVC to invite them for the rest of the process. We received the letter with the invoice ID in November 2020 and our first login in December showed the Beneficiary as an F24. We sat on it assuming we just had to wait until the NVC notified us that a visa was available. No notice was received via mail or email by the petitioner or the beneficiary and the account on the NVC website has remained unchanged. We ve verified the contact info there as well. So now I don t know what to do. We all know what it s like to contact anyone at USCIS directly. I m thinking about going to a lawyer but if there is no way to appeal any of this, then I don t want to waste money either. I d appreciate any advice! DOB - 11/4/1999 Priority Date - 9/17/2019 Approval Date - 11/8/20200 According to the visa bulletin, F2A was current at the time the petition was approved.

I m guessing others who are doing the k1 visa process with the Philippines are probably going through this as well. St Luke s medical extension clinic rescheduled my fianc e s swab and medical exam appointment without even asking us first. Now we will have to reschedule because the appointments are way too soon and she doesn t have all her paperwork together. This is really not a question but just a statement of frustration. I will probably have to make a new interview appointment as well for the visa. Just wondering if anyone else is going through this type of issue with the medical exam for the Philippines.

My fianc is attempting to do the DS-160 application. I have been attempting to use the State Department image tool https://tsg.phototool.state.gov/photo to prepare a picture to upload. We have been spending an unreasonable amount of time just trying to figure out how to get an image to work on here. It seems it will only accept a low quality image, however, when I try to reduce the image size, it gets compressed and the image is always rejected due to compression. My fianc has no electricity this week, so it is extremely difficult to transmit images because there is no light and it is hard to charge the phone. The cell coverage is so spotty that we can only get a few messages a day to each other but that seems to be normal where she lives. I have an image from her, but obtaining a new one will be difficult. We've spent almost a week on this step and it has delayed our process. If anyone has any tips on how to get an image ready for upload, I would appreciate it greatly.
