Senior Citizen Mother with No Birth Certificate

Hello,

I am hoping that one of you can give me an idea of what to do.

I am going to be a U.S. citizen soon, and I am planning on petitioning my 63-year old mother.

However, I can not find any record of her birth certificate. I tried getting her record using different possible names and years of birth, but no luck. All I have are negatives saying that she has no record.

Anyway, with the negative birth certificates, we have been trying to do a late registration for her, but this is taking too long and the effort is too much (we got to do the registration of her birth certificate in Eastern Samar and we just don't have anyone reliable to help us with it).

I am also not looking forward to getting her passport and other immigration-related papers with a late-registered birth certificate (they are prone to extra scrutiny).

Does anyone else have other ideas on how to go about it?

I'm not asking for anything illegal, just another option for registering her birth certificate or maybe an agency that can help?

Your experience in dealing with a birth certificate that is 63 years old would be helpful.

Thank you all for your help.

My fiance had her interview today . All the groups that were going in, were out in almost two hours to the minute.

She was denied because she had no CENOMAR even though she was married in the Philippines and then was divorced in Korea.

Unfortunately, she is unable to return to Korea to get an official certificate of divorce, overstay of visa..ugh, all we have (had, officer in the embassy took the original we had even though we had copies in our 129f packet) is a certified certificate of marriage relation of from her former husband.

We have an appointment with the PSA and we are going to request those documents, the CENOMAR, and then send them in with her passport and see what happens.

Everything else went well. After talking to the first person, that reviewed the paperwork, the second person ask 5 questions, and she was done.

And.... No, the petitioner is not allowed inside.

Will I-751 be rejected for not including I-90

We filed the I-751 but did not include an I-90 and are in the process of filing it now. On my wife s permanent resident card they put the wrong birth year even though we pointed out that the birth year was wrong in the NOA for adjustment of status at the interview for adjustment of status they still put that date on the permanent resident card. In the I-751 there is a variety of documents showing actual birth date such as mortgage documents, visa/passport with birth date listed. Will the I-751 still be processed as normal if there is enough evidence to show they messed up and put the wrong birth year on the card?

My fiance had an overstay in South Korea a few years back. She is back in the Philippines and I like to apply for a K1.

My question is, would an overstay in another country hurt our chances for a K1 Visa?

TIA Daryle

Is there a number I can call to follow up on status of N-400 application?

Hi all!

I would like to know if there is a specific contact number I can call to follow up on status of my

naturalization application. Due to a pending trip, I would like to talk to an actual officer who can check my

application and get an accurate estimate of when to expect the interview.

I guess another important question is: is this possible? Would I be able to get an accurate estimate if I call?

I applied for naturalization in August 2021 and my USCIS Field Office is in Charlotte.

Thank you in advance!
