    Is your husband in the US? Where did you legally get married? If it is in the US via proxy marriage your husband can file the ROM to the PH consulate that covers the state in which you married. They accepted our receipt of the ROM for the CFO with no issues. Jordan

    We tried this route first, DFA back and forth was literally 2 weeks each time. They would ask something else back and forth. Thinkfully since we married in Utah county we just filed at the San Francisco consulate. Good luck with the DFA...

    We just went through this with the CFO, Ultimately the receipt of the ROM you get is fine to apply for the CFO and you don't need wait the current "16" weeks for PSA ROM for CFO. Jordan

    Just an update, After much convincing the CFO in PH has accepted an email "receipt" of the ROM from the San Francisco consulate. What a stressful nightmare. Clear to go now. Thanks all for your kind words. Jordan

    Thank you, the first news really destroyed us. So this is giving us some hope and my wife will contact the counselor tomorrow again. I told her don't give up no matter what.

    Hello All, I need some assistance, We filed ROM months ago and it is still not processed, is there any way that my wife can get her CFO so that she can leave to the US without the certified processed copy of the report of marriage? This is getting crazy, We have waited so long and now this is stopping everything. We are both depressed as hell and don't know what to do at this point. Thanks, Jordan

    Yeah we ended up forgetting the Travel Authority, it was a joke. Had to not only wait for the local school, but the provincial office and you must have a good reason to go! I just ended up flying to PH 3 times in 2021 filed CR-1 and she just received her visa friday to come to US. What a PITA. At least in the US the rules are the same everywhere for the most part.     Did you file the K-3? I filed that about a month after the NOA1 and despite what some think it seems to speed up processing.
