US Immigration from Philippines

We need your opinion on this situation

My wife and her family (Mother and sister) in the Philippines are supporting her female cousin ("Maria"). Maria lives with them and has been part of the family for several years now. They treat her very well and supported her schooling all the way to her recent graduation from High School.

The plan is to send to her college in the Philippines.

Everything was fine until Maria got caught posting photos of herself in her underwear with her face cutoff in a website call Pornview(?).

At this point, my wife is upset and feel that Maria no longer deserves her financial help for college. There are other relatives that can use the financial assistance to go to college. Maria is 20 years old. Is my wife wasting her money supporting Maria?

My question for other members that understands the Philippine Culture is my wife overreacting? Without college, Maria will have very few career choices in the Philippines. She probably end up doing laundry for others as a job with only a high school degree.

What would other members from the Philippines advise in this situation?

Hello. How vital is N-600 for a child that became a citizen because of her mother? I am naturalized, but my daughter (15) needs proof that she is a citizen. I just applied for her passport with no hassle, so I was wondering if filing for N-600 is worth it or passport is enough to show that she is a US citizen now. And $1100 for the filing fee is a significant amount for me. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

My brother has a 12 year old child out of wedlock in the Philippines and the child wants to visit us here in the US for the first time. The child currently lives with the mother and would just want to visit and not be petitioned or to live permanently here. Mother has no B1/B2 visa. My brother left for the US when the child was 3 years old but has not gone back to the Philippines since then although he supported the child financially and they constantly communicated. Would it be possible for the child's US citizen father to accompany on a B2 tourist visa application in the Philippines and the child be approved? Any insights, recommendations, or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
