I have updated our timeline. Our case status still says actively reviewing but I found the approval letter in the documents tab like many people have seen recently. K3 did nothing but I still encourage people to send them as it costs nothing and may help. Hope everyone is doing well, and we hope for speedy approvals for you all.

It is very frustrating that the missing document that they asked is a proof of the petitioner's citizenship when the visa category is F2B (son /daughter of a legal permanent resident over 21 years old) which simply means that the petitioner is not a US citizen. Her green card copy was uploaded on CEAC and even was carried physically. Any thoughts on this?

My wife's interview was August 9. They said everything was fine and she'd get her visa in 1 to 2 weeks. It's been over 3 weeks and no status. Not through auto email. Not online. Sent an email to the Embassy 2 days ago. Still waiting a response. Anyone have current experience with this. Thanks.

Hello I and the wife were married in the Philippines in July 2019. Wife and step daughter got here (US) April 2021. We have already applied for 10 year green cards and have 48 month extension letters and will apply for citizenship in January (N 400) but the step daughters passport expires in April 2024. Question is do I really need to go through the hassle of renewing the passport or can we just wait for the US passports? We have no plans of travel before getting the US passports. Thank You for any experience you may have on this. Bob

all the paperworks are accepted but received this on the email/note side, what else can I do? Thank you The income reported as stated on form I-864, I-864A is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos and https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. Note: You, as the sponsor, and any other sponsors household members and joint sponsors, must provide updated or additional evidence for the applicant to present at the time of their interview such as: * Other income * Assets * Proof of current employment Note: You submitted documentation to the National Visa Center through the Consular Electronic Application Center CEAC. You can continue to upload documents to CEAC up until the date of your visa interview.
