What is going on in January in Manila. Almost every hotel that has been recommended near Embassy shows unavailable, no matter what week in January I try?  I was trying to get an idea of costs for 5.

Not sure if they have any connecing rooms but Bayview had plenty of availability if you are willing to take 2 rooms.

That is what I may have to do. Prefer to keep them together, but will do the best I can do.  First have to wait for January interview appointments to open up.
