I saw that I need to wait ten days to update my social security information. Do I also need to wait 10 days to register to vote, apply for passport, etc?

Hello,

Son applied to remove conditions. His gc expires May 25. He received a text that they sent him an I767C. He has moved in the interim and did not receive the i767c. Is that different from the extension letter? Is it just a receipt or does it contain action items like biometrics appointment? Should he call them?

He did do change of address AR11 but only after they mailed it out.

TIA

Hello!

I received the Packet 3 for the K1 visa with the required checklist to complete. I have gathered most of the required items but I am a bit confused about one of the items, specifically the "Canadian immigration documents". I am an immigrant to Canada, I'm a citizen now but I've only been a citizen since 2017, I landed with a PR in 2012. What do they mean by immigration documents? Do I need to provide my PR landing document? My SIN? My citizenship certificate? Please help! Thanks!

Does not having an SSN slow down my travel/work visa approval?

Hi! I got married in July in NJ (moved from Canada) with the K1 Fiance Visa and applied for my PR, Travel Visa, and Work Permit all at once about a month after my marriage. I do not have an SSN yet, as my lawyer recommended I wait until I have my work authorization before applying. However, since then, I have had two K1 Visa friends (one from the UK and one from NZ), who both got married and applied AFTER me, receive their travel and work permits. I still have not. I believe they both applied for their SSNs prior to their approvals. My question is...is it possible that not having a SSN before applying for these visas is slowing my approval down?
