I saw that I need to wait ten days to update my social security information. Do I also need to wait 10 days to register to vote, apply for passport, etc?

at our oath ceremony,  there were forms to sign up to vote ,  and the application papers to fill out and take to post office (to mail in with  naturalization certificate and photos for passport)

for SS change u need an appointment but the 10 day  waiting  is for the computer to make the changes in the USCIS system / form SS 5 can be found on SS site to fill out ahead of visit

https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ss-5.pdf

once u have the certificate ,  u r  a citizen and all USCIS waiting is over for the most part

U have to show the original naturalization certificate to SS and also mail in for passport so u can choose the order to do this

we did passport and when the certificate came back ,  we did SS

I registered to vote and updated my information with the SS on the same day of the Oath ceremony then went to the post office to apply for a passport.

Still a little confused on the dates but I went ahead and applied for my passport yesterday. Didn’t realize they need the naturalization certificate for the process so I’ll have to wait until I get it back to update my ssn.

Update: Applied for my expedited passport on march 26th at the USPS in Santa Cruz. The passport office received the documents April 1st and it was delivered to my house today! Still waiting on supporting documents but apparently those were mailed out yesterday. That was lightning fast.
