Please help! (AOS after K1) On June 7th I received a letter with an interview date of July 21st. I just checked my case history on the USCIS My Account page and now they show the interview has been cancelled as of June 30th. They also show a Notice of Intent to Deny with the same date. When I open the document, it shows an RFE letter but it's only asking for a copy of the marriage certificate. This was already sent to them in the original package. I've uploaded the certificate again, but what now?? Why did they cancel the interview? The letter says "This is to advise you that, as requested, we have cancelled the interview......" I never requested to cancel the interview. Is this a generic letter? Currently the status is back to 'case is being reviewed'.

| Can Being on EI Work Against Me During NVC Interview? |

Hi all! My wife and I are currently in the process of waiting for NVC to issue us an interview date for the Montreal consulate (we submitted May 24th, 2022). I (the Canadian citizen beneficiary) worked as a teacher this past school year, and I do not have any job offer or contract for September. As such, I am eligible to go on EI here in Ontario. However, before I do, I wanted to be 100% sure that the Montreal consulate would not hold this against me at all during my interview. My preference would be to go on EI this summer, and if I have still not heard from NVC to continue substitute teaching in September again. However, there is a chance that we will receive our interview over this summer (while I am on EI). My questions are: 1. Has any beneficiary ever been denied a visa because they were on Employment Insurance in their country of origin? I have extensive work history the past 5 years showing I am not regularly on EI - it will just be over this summer. 2. Is there anything else I may want to consider when receiving EI from Canada while in the process of being sponsored to move to the US? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will be sure to keep everyone updated as I go!

Hello, All: I submitted my N400 application in September 2020 via VAWA. I was finally asked to come in for interview, and I attended on 07/01/2022. However, the officer told me 2 interviews will be conducted, one for I-751 which was still pending when I applied for my N400 via vawa. I went through the interviews for about 1 hour, after which, the officer, made me to sign the Naturalization Certificate with my name and profile on it. I also signed the Oath Declaration all in softcopy on the iPad. The officer also asked me Allegiance to U.S. questions, which I answered in affirmative. After the interview the officer proceeded to give me another form N-652, stating that I have passed the English test and U.S. history and government tests. However, a decision cannot be made yet about my application. At this point, I don't know what to expect next, and when to expect a decision. I will appreciate your input, and thanks in-advance. I recently got my submitted documents rejected and required to resubmit, but when I select INCOMPLETE for the petitioner where I need to resubmit and review the docs, I get this error: Application Error: You have encountered an application error. Please try again later. Then it logs me out, it s been like this for a few days now. Anyone else experiencing this? It s unfortunate they ve suspended calls and only online injury forms, it would be absurd if I have to wait 2 months for someone to fix this, then another 2 months to review
