Hi all!! The NVC finally received our case on Friday, and now of course my work is looking to send me to California. I'm Canadian and am worried about what would happen if I travel before my interview is scheduled. Has anyone else ever had to do something like that??

Good afternoon all, I am a naturalized US citizen. My parents are Canadian citizens, recently granted the family visa to move to the US as permanent residents. They received their visas on their Canadian passport in Montreal earlier this year and the visa expires in June. My parents' first trip since being granted the visa to US will be in April. They are not "moving" this visit, simply coming over for 2 months to stay with me and then go back to their Canadian residence for a couple more months to prepare for the move. I am kind of confused in regards to what happens next - I have reached out many times to NVC to get clarification but haven't received any. When they fly in from Montreal to US in April, would they just show the visa to the customs officer and that's it? Are they going to be questioned/interviewed at that point at the airport? My parents are sick and elderly so I want to have them aware and prepared for as much as possible and know what to expect. At what point would they receive their PR cards? As I was the petitioner in their application, is it going to be mailed to my home address for them? Or would it be mailed to their Canadian listed address? Once they have arrived to the US, they plan to stay for about 2 months with me and then go back to Canada. and then come back again in a couple of months. I am just not sure what the process will be like from here on to obtain the actual PR card and what would be the next steps in terms of getting their Social Security and everything set up. I will really appreciate some guidance in this.

| Is it ok to send checklist from packet 3 while waiting for documents? |

I just started the process of getting my long-form birth certificate and a police background check certificate. But is it fine to send my packet 3 checklist (along with DS-160 receipt and passport scan) while I wait for those two documents? I'm not sure if I'm required to actually have the documents before sending the checklist and eventually scheduling an interview. I figure since it'll probably be at least a month before the interview, that's plenty of time. Worst case scenario, if I don't have the documents in time, I assume I can reschedule the interview, right? Thanks!

I received my NOA receipts for forms I-485,I-131, I-764. Package sent on Feb 20/23 and notice date on Feb 24/23. I was expecting to receive an access code to log into Uscis website. I didn t get one today. Is this common? My spouse (US citizen) sent in our cr1 applications in August of 2022 and has login info for uscis. I was thinking that when we switched to adjustment of status that I, the beneficiary would also get login credentials since most of this paperwork for aos is initiated by me rather than her applying for me? Should we add these receipts to our already established timeline under her uscis account or should I try to acquire my own access code? Thanks for any advice.
