Hi everyone! I need your advice and opinion about situation we are experiencing.

i brought my parents , they got their stamps at the port of entry.

my mothers green card has arrived ten days ago but my father s has not.

i checked case status trying to find out the tracking number for the card or get any information but it showed only old action on their case ( you case was sent to NVC etc)

I called the talked to the lovely machine to their link to the same what I did and that was all help I got.

can I possibly talk to tier 1 or 2 about the card? How you dealt with it you were in my situation?

any advice is highly appreciated!

I am the petitioner (currently live in USA) and the beneficiary is my husband (currently lives in Russia).

We are preparing to submit for i-130 and realized his certificate of divorce from his ex looks normal EXCEPT at the very bottom it says " This Certificate is issued to (name of ex wife here)". -see below image, this is an upload of our translated copy of the original document-

My husband says this was the official original document issued to him and his ex (from an office in Yakutsk, Russia). I'm just not sure why it only says it was issued to her only.

Does anyone think this will be a problem? Or should we just try submitting anyway? Thank you.

I have my K-1 visa interview soon in Montreal Canada, and I'm concerned about my co-sponsor's past business losses affecting our approval. He earned 37k in wages/w2s, but lost 23k from business income.

He now has stable employment at a dealership and a current salary of $54,860 per year (household of 3) which I will be able to show employment verification and pay stubs. He also no longer owns that business and is not subject to further losses from it.

Hi. I had my N400 interview and during the interview in Baltimore field, I requested for a name change. I was approved and told that oath ceremony will be scheduled. it's been a month now and I haven't heard anything; does anyone know how long it will take for the oath ceremony to be scheduled due to name change? I know the whole name change thing will go through the court system and I will be sworn in by a judge. I just want to know how long it will take
