It just occurred to me, that get her to the land border …sounds a bit vague. ..and does not involve stealth or illegal crossing.

For clarification, it just means your wife gets in front of a CBP officer presents her expired card, extension letter and asks to be allowed . ..

‘She insists she is an LPR and even if they detain her a bit or issue NTA …she will get in. None of that is possible anywhere but at land POE.

How does it work when she was not here to sign?

Great question, the removal of conditions is much more on the immigrant than on the original petitioner.

This is important @Zumbadaddy, if the form wasn't filed correctly your package can be rejected!

If they approve the next boarding foil ( post I-751) , he is fine…but if they deny, then it’s time for a Napoleonic tactic at land POE…😂

I'm thinking Saul Goodman or reach out to Mr. Breaking Bad Heisenberg to bring her in through a truck carrying Los Pollos Hermanos, or finding an actual immigration attorney.

By the way anyone looking for a cash friendly car wash?

I got the call this morning from Bank of America that USCIS tried to charge my debit card which I filled in the form for them to bill me the $680.00 for the I-751 and the charge was declined by BOA since it was not recognized.  ONCE i APPROVED IT OVER THE PHONE boa TOLD ME THEY SHOULD RERUN MY CARD.  How do I send a message to USCIS to run it again, or do I need to send a new application with a cashiers check... god knows that will probably get lost by USCIS... the saga never ends.  I wish I could just run the card online and apply electronically... such BS

Filing Fees | USCIS

USCIS says they run credit cards only once.  If declined, they will reject the package.  They do not specifically say that for debit cards.  I would wait a couple days to see if the debit goes through before sending another package.  I would pay via personal check.

It could take a couple weeks before receiving a rejected package.  I know of no way to contact them about the I-751 since you have no reference number.

I paid by cheque, does avoid the Bank declining issue.

I am 99% certain the Debit Card or Credit Card it is the same.

I checked my online banking and I guess because the original charge was declined they stopped the transaction.

Now I start all over again.  How can I ensure this doesn't happen again?

Is there an online billing portal I can use?

Not for an I-751.  I would send a personal check.

Money order would be second after that.

I sent a personal check and here is the envelope I sent... I hope it's ok.

My cover page lists what's on each page by page number and except for the I-751 application each page is numbered in the bottom right corner.  This application is "IDOT PROOF.. like a Microwave in 7-11"

I hope this goes thru

Post marked before today, correct?  Fee increased to $750 for I-751s (with biometrics) post marked today forward.

Good luck!  I hope the extension letter is issued soon.  It's time for something good to happen.
