Of course you know what I was referring to.  WDW (Disney).   FYI, I don't live in central Florida.  It gets too cold up there.

I went to NJ once. After two hours I was done and safely retreated. The husband says we should go back and I have yet for him to give me a good reason why we should. Delaware is 11th on that list too,

I probably shouldn't knock so hard on MD though. There's tons of cool to find here but I don't think we are a genuinely happy people.

It's been an unusually cold winter here.  Several days where it was in the mid 40's early am and didn't even break out of the 60's all day.

 

How does one get warmed up in horrible weather like that?

we just went through a cold weather blast where the temp was 17 and the wind made it feel like 5.  stay inside is my advice.

If I had to choose an actual State, it would have to be Maine. Lived there for a while, the people are great, the pace of life suits me (after a stint working in Manhattan), the food is good, you can go swimming in the Atlantic last week in August and first week in September and not get frostbite and it’s still mainly too cold for Great White Sharks.

 

The only downside is that I never found where they hid the Red October. 🤔

Maine is also the only U.S. state with a one-syllable name.

 

Somewhere on my bucket list is the idea of driving around the entire perimeter of Maine, but people have told me that this isn't possible on the western side.  Unless there are impassable mountains or nothing but potato farms with no need for roads, I'm stumped as to why.
