Israel Intercepts Arms Shipment From Iran to Gaza

 

On Wednesday, Fox News presented a video of an arms shipment reportedly intercepted by Israeli forces.  The video was not accompanied by any narration or indeed any audio, but reportedly shows a cache of weapons and explosives headed for Hamas in Gaza, and supplied by Iran.

 

The video displays a wide range of arms and munitions, including mines, hand-thrown grenades, and other explosives, rocket-propelled grenade launchers (the infamous RPG-7 of Cold War infamy) what appear to be a variety of sidearms including Glock and Beretta pistols, and interestingly, what look to be AR-15 platform rifles, although whether they are the M-16/M4 version that has the full-auto or 3-shot burst capability is not discernible.  [...]

Israel Is Risking Losing This War By Caring What People Who Hate It Think

Restraining was a mistake.  The fact is that Israel has, to a far too great extent, tried to fight this war on terms that would satisfy its leftist enemies in the United States and other anti-Semites around the world.  That was an error from the beginning.  Israel's strategy should have focused on victory, not on trying to mollify its critics.  They will cry no matter what.  Let them cry over defeated terrorists.  Do you know what mollifies critics most effectively?  Winning.  Israel should've done that, and fast.  But it didn't.  Despite the courage and skill of the IDF, who are a credit to their great nation, Israel's leadership chose to fight this war and is still fighting this war in a manner that allows others who do not have Israel's best interest at heart to dictate its strategic and tactical prerogatives.  That is a grave error.  That is putting Israel in danger.  [...]

Any sensible leader would have given the terrorists a very short deadline to return all hostages in decent physical condition, and, if this deadline wasn't met, would have immediately leveled every structure in Gaza without regard to man or beast.  Simultaneously, a special and very hot gift would have been reserved for Tehran.

Iran attacks Israel:  IDF warns that threat is ongoing, interceptions continue

 

Sirens blared across Israel on Saturday night as hundreds of drones and missiles launched from Iran reached Israel.  Drones and missiles were also reportedly launched from Yemen and other countries around the region.

 

A seven-year-old girl from a Bedouin village near Arad was seriously wounded by the Iranian attack, according to Magen David Adom.  Minor damage was caused to infrastructure at an IDF base in southern Israel during the attack as well, according to IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari.

 

At 3:00 a.m., IDF Chief Spokesman Daniel Hagari said that Iran had launched a large-scale massive swarm of over 200 killer drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles toward Israel.  "Together [with our partners], we are operating at this very moment.  So far, we have intercepted a vast majority of missiles, attack drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles outside of Israel's border," he said.  [...]
