Update for me = Jack sh&%

They received our package on the 2nd of August, yet no NOA1, no biometrics, no nada, no signs of anything.

I'm in the same boat and it is getting very frustrating. We sent our package on 7/26 they received it on 7/31 and still nothing. We all just need to keep hanging on. Good Luck

We just got an RFE for :

"F.(40) The sponsor or joint sponsor (if required) on Form I-864 Affidavit of Support must submit the following:

- W-2's, 1099s, and/or all schudles submitted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)- a copy of his/her Federal income tax return was submitted and/or the sponsor or joint sponsor requested an extension to file his or her Federal income tax return."

I had sent the tax returns for 2004-2005-2006 alongwith 2 months of paystubs and letter from emplyer. I wasnt aware I had to send the W2s since the tax returns were being attached..anyways...i want to check that now I should send the W2s for the 3 years from my sponsor (I dont have any co-sponsors) and 1099s from the bank for his interest payments? Do I need to include anything else?

My wife Perla received her biometrics appointment in the mail today (9/8/07), it is scheduled for 9/18. Needless to say we were super happy!

My husband received his NOA1 today, only for the EAD -- still no NOA1 for AOS yet. He has had his biometrics appointment letter for some time, and the biometrics appointment is for EAD and AOS, so his NOA1 for AOS is floating around out there somewhere. Strangely, the biometrics letter went to our PO box, which we prefer, but the NOA1 came to our home. That's fine, since he needs proof of physical address for some other things anyway, and now he has it.

The NOA1 lists the received date as 7/28/07 and the notice date as 8/31/07.

Please update us. Thanks. :)

Hubby received his NOA1 for AOS today. Please update us too. This means we'll have to take another trip to b'hams application service center to have biometrics taken AGAIN when we just did it last month for the EAD which we have yet to receive.

Yesterday I received a notice in the mail telling me that our application has been transferred! I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing LOL.

MrsAyilliath Could I please have some more information so I can update the time line? I would like the notice date on your NOA1 and the date you had your biometrics appointment please. MrsAyilliath, are you sure you'll have to have your biometrics done again as my biometrics was for both EAD (still yet to receive it like you) and my AOS. Look at your biometrics appointment letter to see if there are two case types written on there and two bar codes representing the EAD and the AOS. It is my understanding that you'll only have to go to do the bios once :) Anyway, thought I'd get you to check it out. Best of luck! :thumbs:

Yesterday I received a notice in the mail telling me that our application has been transferred! I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing LOL.

A lot of people consider it a good thing because usually the papers are processed a bit faster and the interview is skipped.

The only thing is since you don't get to see any immigration agent if you are stuck in the FBI name check, it's hard to find out what's going on. You should join the CSC transferee's post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...&start=2490 if you haven't already.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding
