For my RFE 

MISTAKE

I make and hope other can avoid is filling I-864 (READ CAREFULLY AND FILL ACCORDINGLY) ( that I didn’t do 😅😅😅) and didn’t include my medical check up when I send my I-485 package 

 

ADVANTAGE 

I give additional evidence via online upload when  my husband put me under his medical insurance 

after I submitted and pictures and other related document

approve in june actually  saw at lawfully apps some of them approve n 50days too but some more than 400 days ... its really depend on alot of factor...

Apparently, I'm seeing a lot of these fast approvals.

 

At the same time, I'm trying to figure out what's USCIS motive because they don't hasten a process for no reason.

March of last year they committed to clean up speed up ( LIFO approach ) and gave Service Centers a Risk Based Cklist AND power to adjudicate/approve . 
When a file meets all

They're not. 

 

I'm sure there's a catch. 

Probably give everyone conditional, then hike ROC fees. So, by logic everyone gets ROC as opposed to now where your file can take 2 years and you end up skipping ROC.

 

Pretty sure there intent is to reduce wait times to below 2 years so you can pay them agian at ROC. So, these fast approvals will be gone and the new fast will be interview 5 months prior to hitting 2 year anniversary so that they can catch you at ROC and take your money. By doing this, they'll be killing two birds with the same stone: getting your ROC $$ + increasing processing times to what they almost used to be but below 2 years

Well historically ( pre pandemic) an interview date avg was 6 months..with the new approach and digital processing, it’s  more likely they can accomplish that in a faster/  less than period. ..no scheming before or after.

I disagree.

 

If they were getting more efficient, they could target the people who submitted earlier.

 

I think they are approving a few new applications in order to bring down the "average" waiting time.

 

Then it looks like they are keeping their promise of reducing waiting times.

typical USCIS. LIFO ( last In First Out) is not a new thing. during Trump asylum also processed in that order, 2018 processed first and up to this date, many asylum filer in 2016-2017 still in limbo.

 

and i agree with you, my take is bring down the "average" waiting time, approve as much as they can ( i saw many approval i-485 only 45 days from in to out ) and banked a lots of money for ROC. they know  most people will go for naturalization anyway so they put ROC in the backburner

I dont know about the future adjustment price for the process... but i do see some of the people wait for almost 2 years and still waiting... i am just grateful that my application is smooth and just want to remind others if they wanna fill in don't make the same mistake i make.. btw saw the waiting time for card on hand seems longer... just hope i will get mine soon....Have great weekend everyone
