Still crickets for me... "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" since June 9th, 2023.

Anyone know how I can get a 36 month extension letter? My 24 month extension letter is valid up until August this year.

36 months extension is old news. There's 48 months extension since some time in 2023. In fact, everybody who have pending case should have received 48 months extension automatically. I received my 48 months extension after 24 months in 2023.

If you haven't received it, it's a bit worrying. Did you move to new address?  There's danger USCIS sent you letters and you missed them.

Request 48 months extension here:

Yes. This might be the only hope. Going into 26 months now!

Unless you file the N-400, it could go much longer.......Ours went 40 months...After filing the N-400, both were approved 4 months later.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

This is craziness. Why even have this step if USCIS is not going to prioritize approving it. Could just go directly to a full GC.

It seems that a very low percentage of I-751s are actually denied....including appeals.....That tells me that the process prior to submitting I-751s is sufficiently eliminating fraudulent marriages.  I have, for years, advocated eliminating the I-751 and conditional Green cards.

To my knowledge, my wife and I have one of the longest I-751 processing times with no RFEs....44 months.
