USPS Lost Letter - What could it be?

I submitted my application to remove conditions on residence in October 2022. Received NOA of receipt and 24 month extension on 10/10 and then accepted biometrics on 10/26. Been waiting since then, along with everyone else.

I signed up for Informed Delivery with USPS and 2 weeks ago, I saw that a letter from USCIS was being delivered. In the photo of the letter, I could see that the notice date is 3/22/23. The letter never got delivered. It's been about 2 weeks now and USPS basically said I'm SOL and that there's nothing they can do.

I checked my case status online and the last update is still for the biometrics from 10/26. I called the USCIC Contact Center and the automated bot confirms the last update was 10/26.

What else could it possibly be? I'm concerned it's an RFE, but who can I follow up with?

Yes I can see the Statue of Liberty image. The letter looks exactly like the usual NOA letters.

99.99 percent chance it was 48 month extension letter

USPS lost the letter with my 10 years Green card. From then it's been a nightmare. After a research on the internet, I found out this happened to a lot of applicants. My humble opinion is they steal them for some bad reasons, but I could be wrong.

Send a message to USCIS using your account with all the details you provided here. Maybe they can resend the letter. Unfortunately, USPS "lost" a letter from IRS for my daughter. I don't understand how they lose mail when they had the chance to scan them for the informed delivery service. I checked the "I did not receive this mail" box on my USPS account but never heard from them and the letter was never delivered. It's been 2 months.

Just to add on here, this happened to us too, just last month. Wife and daughter came here on K1/K2 visas. Got the email on Informed Delivery with images of the wife's and daughter's letters. But only the wife's delivered. They were 48 month extension letters. In the process now of trying to get the daugter's letter replaced.
