My documents arrived NVC at 06. BTW I just received an update asking for more document. Means they have looked into my case. 26 days for me. Hope my timeline helps for someone who send documents by mail. EB2 case

Thank you! Received first email stating “Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case”, then another email same time stating “becoming Documentarily Qualified”. Went into CEAC and within messages had DQ status.

DQ received today! So happy!  Whats next? Will receive a letter from embassy with interview date? Will they provide dates to choose from?

Employment Verification letter

Copy of Apartment Lease (proof of domicile)

Copy of Electric Bill (proof of domicile)

I was just going to submit the 2022 tax transcript and i864. 
Is all that other stuff required?

Yes, and the more tax documents you submit the better. I submitted 2020,2021 and 2022 tax transcripts and w-2s. You don’t want any hold ups with processing your information

I submitted all the stuff that would show without a doubt that I've been paying my taxes in the US, I made more than the required in 2022 AND I currently make more than the required in 2023. I wanted to set us up for success and we were DQed in 16 days with no RFE. 

 

At the end of the day, NVC just wants to check that you make more than the required amount and how much you make RIGHT NOW matters most. So even if you made enough in 2022, but don't show any proof for 2023, the officer at the interview can reject you. So, better safe than sorry, I guess.

02/12/2022 - NOA 1 (Nebraska Service Center) ➡️ Transferred (Potomac Service Center)

05/23/2022 - Sent K3 Packet

05/26/2022 - K3 Receipt Notice (Potomac Service Center)

06/21/2022 - Status Update (Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS)

02/22/2023 - Approved 🎉 (notice came from NBC Service Center) 

Total: 375 days
