Is scanned copy acceptable>

Hello!

Regarding submitting documents for the K1 interview, will the embassy accept scanned copies of the documents, like the DS-160 or the I-134?  I wonder if they accept the scanned copy of the signature part of the I-134.

I sent documents through USPS almost 3 weeks ago, but it did not arrive yet.

DS-160 is an online form. Not understanding the question.

So I sent the documents needed to my fiancé 3 weeks ago.  However, it did not arrive yet.  I asked USPS why there's no changes in the tracking app.  So I was thinking of just scanning the documents (because I also kept my own copies) to him, instead of waiting.  I just want to be sure that the embassy accepts scanned copies.

They will certainly be better than nothing. Scan and email them and he can print them off. Some embassies require a “wet signature”.. others don't .. but he needs to take something !!

Oh I see what you mean. Did you send an international package through USPS? In my experience that is not the best carrier for international shipping 

 

*most* consulates accept scanned signatures. Now I know each consulate has its own rules but the most reliable way to know is through packet 3 or 4 which the consulate usually sends to outline which documents they need and if there are any special requests

I concur FedEx or UPS would have been a much better deal instead of USPS, no telling where the documents are now!
