Sent packet January 11.  Just got the text so that part was pretty quick.  Got assigned MSC...Is that the death sentence of a wait?  Planned on filing for N-400 at Christmas this year.

Maybe with risk based approach your application could get approved quickly, who knows? A lot of people are waiting over a year or two, but since you're planning filing N-400 it shouldn't matter too much. You don't need approved I-751 to apply for N-400 when you qualify. Whether N-400 will affect I-751 that's another question.

Basically, you are in the mercy of USCIS and pretty much nothing you can do to speed it up, so why worry.

It's not really a worry but my wife's daughter will age out of being automatically granted citizenship under her mother's N-400 application if it goes past October 2024.  If so she would have to wait for the five year timeframe insted of thee years and have to submit her own application, pay her own fee and do her own civics test, etc.  I will at least try for one expedite if it looks like it won't make it.  It's not a true "age out" case but they may at least consider it.

@Stein it is a legitimate concern, but I don't see anything you could do to make USCIS decide I-751 and N-400 quicker. File strong cases with plenty of evidence, using correct forms and fees. That way the chance of RFEs and processing time is reduced. You can see processing times here

Almost done with my packet! Hoping to send it out tomorrow. Our packet is quite bulky. How did you guys pack your documents? Did it fit in an envelope? Did you use a box?

Also, just to make sure. The only thing that needs to be signed are Pages 7 and 8 on the form, am I right? I already double checked everything, just need confirmation from others. Lol I just wanna make sure I did everything correctly.

Hey, I'm a January 2023 filer. Sent my paperwork via UPS to the Elgin Lockbox (2500 Westfield Drive in Elgin, IL) on January 3rd, delivered and received by ROBBINS on January 4th at 11:15 AM. No text message or NOA1 received yet. Filed with a fee waiver request. (money is tight right now otherwise I would've paid the full amount)

The wait is killing me. :P

Received my text message today. It only took 2 weeks. Starts with LIN.

I'm on the same boat. I finished scanning everything and adding the sticky tabs at the bottom of the pages. I need an extra large binder clip, but all of my stuff fitted in a clasp envelope. At this point I'm wondering if I even need the extra large binder clip. Good luck!

Good luck! I placed all of my files in an expandable envelope and then placed it in a box. I bought an extra large binder clip but it wasn’t big enough. Good luck!

Sent my I-751 package last week. Hoping to get some response this week.

Jan 12, 2023 : Sent the ROC packet via USPS

Jan 14, 2023 : USPS delivered to the USCIS Phoenix lockbox address

Long weekend might be slowing things this week. The wait to get a receipt number is too much to ignore.

I just found out I forgot to sign the G-1450 form to authorize the credit card transaction. Totally my mistake. I am just praying they process that transaction though.

Does anyone know how long does they take to send back the application packet?
