Hi, My husband’s documents got approved on Jan 4th and we are still waiting for an interview date….is this normal? I thought it would take a couple of months to schedule it. We started this visa journey in July 2021. It’s about to be two years and I am desperate. Final question — and there is nothing I can do to speed the process? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I originally submitted my documents in July and got RFE in September. I uploaded by documents on Oct 22nd (I think) and heard back yesterday that everything was accepted except our marriage certificate they wanted us to upload a better version. We finally figured out the problem, but now I am trying to submit the document and its saying the police and military records are missing, but when you scroll down you see that it has been uploaded and accepted. Has anyone read about this before? My real question is do I re-upload it even though it has already been accepted OR do I click the option "Not Availible"

Hi everyone! I submitted documents in July — final date for everything was July 21st. I see some people have already been notified. Should I be worried that I haven’t gotten something yet? I still have the rest of today, tomorrow and kind of next week. If I don’t hear by the end of this month, how do I contact them? TIA

Hi everyone! I feel like such an idiot for asking this question and potentially messing up my husbands documents for this. My husband and I got married in 2021. I am the petitioner (U.S citizen) and he is the beneficiary. He is not from the U.S and has never entered the U.S (doesn’t have a SSN). I was in such a rush this year completing my taxes trying to avoid the penalty that I filed as single instead of one of the married options. I did this b/c he doesn’t have a SSN and I assumed my marriage is not considered “real” as of now to the U.S gov. Our CR1 visa application was sent to the NVC and I know i’ll have to submit my taxes. Will this affect us? And if so, what can i do? Thanks in advance!
