Not sure I’m following what you’re trying to say. I’m under impression that all N-400 cases are a matter of NBC

N-400s start at NBC and then are adjudicated by the local offices for interviews, etc.

Hmmm… am not sure anymore. I thought nbc is a lockbox because that is where my receipt notice came from and mail saying my biometrics will be reused. I maybe wrong but the impression I have is that if nbc is the lockbox they will then move my case to my city after background checks

You’re probably mixing up “service centers” and “local field offices”? People who at least filed online have NBC as their Service Center. And local field offices are the ones that are located the closest to your home where interviews are conducted. I only see lockboxes in filing section  when people send N-400 old school in paper. I don’t know anything about those - how they get distributed from there.

Chicago oath ceremony scheduled for March 13! That was much quicker than it seems to have been at the end of last year.

N400 should be sent to local USCIS. I751 goes to Nebraska.

Your case number will tell you where it was filed unless you filed online. Then its IOEXXXXXXXXXX

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Hello, my wife had applied for here I-751 back in November 2020 and after the fingerprint the status was stuck on "READY TO SCHEDULE FOR AN INTERVIEW" since April 2022 till now. In October 2022, we went ahead and filed her N-400 electronically (best option right now) and she had her interview on February 21st 2023. She passed everything on her test but the officer could not approve her because of her pending I-751.Two days after the interview on February 23rd, they updated the I-751 status to "Case Was Approved" and N-400 to "Oath Will Be Scheduled." Since my wife is going through a name change, I don't know when here oath will be scheduled.
