April 2022 - AOS Filers

HI everyone, 

Glad to be a part of this forum. I just sent off my AOS packet and it was delivered today. Does anyone know how much time it takes for USCIS to acknowledge and send receipt numbers etc.?

It's  hard to say and it varies, sometimes a few days you'll  get notice. Give it a week or so. No one can really give you a definite answer. Follow the threads and you can see how varied the times are.

Sent Complete Package from K1 - very detailed as all the people suggest through experience

 

04/08/2022 - USPS Certified Priority Mail -- on the usps website doesnt confirmed 'delivery' - it just states Arrived at Post Office - 04/12/2022 -- Chicago

04/14/2022 - received 3 text messages - case received

04/19/2022 - received by regular mail 3 letters -- NOA1 i guess -   i-485, i-131 & i-765

 

we'll see who is lucky and receive any documents first

You can join any group you want. But you filed (sent) in March, so March filers would be about right!

• April 14th - Sent AOS package through Fedex 

• April 18th - Package arrived at Chicago 
• April 21st - Recieved 3 text messages & emails

Now just waiting on NOA1’s

received another 2 letters on friday -  04/23/2022 -- Form I-797C, Notice of Action

 

ASC Appointment Notice - Case type I485; I765 -- Biometrics  -- date of appt - 05/11/2022 10am

with Applicants Information Worksheet - (AIW) - to fill out

 

Notice Type: USCIS account access Notice - Onlie access code to create new account

instructions for log in

Update! Got my NOA1’s today in the mail April 25th. Now just waiting on my online access code letter since my case numbers start with IOE.

Hi, so I received an RFE as shown below. I already submitted IRS Tax transcript when I filed for 2020. So unclear if below is asking me to submit for both 2020 and 2021 (because I filed 2021 taxes since first time I filed for 485). Also it says Federal Tax Return, what does it mean?

Anyone else received RFE like this one, please suggest.

Ended up getting the NOA1's a week later. However, my case number has been assigned as IOE. I was told I'd have to access online via the USCIS website, but I haven't received the access code letters yet. I am not sure If I need to reach out to USCIS or just wait for them.
