  2. I really think they check more for financial proof - remember, the main issue to them is the marriage is legit and not a business transaction Lease, purchases, auto registration in both names, and make sure they have credit cards on both of their names the more money you have invested in both names, the better shows they are planning to stay together
  3. Got the email "We have taken action on your case" logged in and was able to downloand "Receipt Notice" - 48months extension - and "Biometric Reuse" Received Date 03/26/2024 Notice Date 04/10/2024 also there were some scanned documents that we sent but not all (part4) but the same happened on the other processes April 10, 2024 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS As of April 10, 2024, we are actively reviewing your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number IOE0..... 8. Good day everyone, I could've sworn when I was doing the k1 process, I saw pinned threads with detailed information on the process for all forms/applications, or maybe being married is making me go nuts.. lol All went perfect on the k1 and AOS -- her 2yr GC expires on 06/23/2024 so uscis calculator states earliest date to apply is 03/25/2024 I was reading about timeframes and they vary like crazy, we were planning to go to her home 03/2025 but if she doesnt have the GC then dealing with extension letter, another hassle Where can i find a guide package/completed form? thanks and good luck
  9. I guess field office, if not, USCIS - worst case I will go back to the office where did the interview and talk to someone - when we went to our appt, they had people for "service" or "information" go in with the original appt letter

  13. our interview went smooth as well, but the officer didnt have the Vaccine documents - DS-3025 -- so asked for a copy of it, we did have the I129F Approved with us as well becuase I have read many stories on missing docs actually, if you have the account online you can check the documents they have scanned, and some are missing from what we completly sent so always take 2 copies of everything
  14. Ladies and Gentlemen, today we went to the AOS interview, not that many people, maybe 15 appointments for 7am (some only couples/family, the others with attorney and others with attorney and interpreter) waited in the main room for about 20mins - we had an interpreter - professional friend - not needed! the official spoke spanish and said there was no need - she was ready and waited with interpreter document without signature if something comes up.. He checked the information from the I129F stating all looked good - personal info and then same questions on the I485 - confirmed personal info (when did you meet, when did you get married, any places we had been, checked our album, we have been to several countries, so I really think that helps from the beginning k1) - background questions, asked for some joint documents to keep, along with the marragie certificate Make sure you take a copy of the DS-3025 - Vaccs document from k1 (good for 1yr - if not you have to take the other form) - he needed it because it was not in the system he said or maybe just wanted to make sure we were prepared He stated within 2-3 weeks she should be getting the 2 year GC - 90 days before the expiration date to fill I751 -- either with interview or just getting the 10yr GC by mail we asked about Travel and employment cards and he said they were trying to save time and money in some cases - with the temp GC there was no need for those and for the SSN (since we requested it on the i485 - to just go the SS office with the GC and they will have the information to provide one (that they should have all information) Good luck everyone!
  15. Thanks, excellent info but by "Phone interpreter" is someone that we should hire? or one USCIS will provide? I have several paralegal friens that can be interpreter as per they translate documents, but want to make sure we are in the same page thanks again!
  16. Good day friends, so I have the interview schedule in 2 weeks from k1 to GC - all looks good and it moved super fast, now im reading on the stories and nothing much on the language or the officer asking only in english? wife understands written english but talking is a whole different level - she speaks spanish - our office is in Miami can I translate to her what he/she may ask or do I need to hire an interpreter? thanks and good luck

  18. it's really luck to tell you the truth, I know personally some people have gotten the temporary residence before the EAD or some other people have gotten it 2 months after biometrics, you cannot compare any cases we got a letter by mail from the uscis to do biometrics, they will set up the date first, also a letter so you can follow the case online
  19. Thats what it looks like, wont get hopes up since it may be months maybe it was a new agent lol, i'll get to that once next paper comes in
  20. Super fast! 21. Congrats, all good hopefully no RFEs and just waiting like all of us lol
  22. Sorry for your situation, dont worry, I would feel the same way - but errors happen, maybe even the agent handling your case put your folder somewhere waiting, in those cases I always think is the person did you clip all papers? check on top etc? Wife did biometrics on 05/11/22 -- the form states is for AOS and EAD - but not for travel document I asked the agent and 3 thigs can happen, they may use the same biometrics, send a letter to do new ones, or just it may arrive without any prior notifications..
  23. Wait until friday this week to get a message or even by regular mail, if not next monday start reaching out to them
