I am posting this on behalf of some else -

I would be grateful for some help with our K-1 petition. I live in the U.K. and my fiancé is a US citizen.  We have just filed the 1-129f .
We are both retired and he has retirement benefit and I have retirement pensions, my income alone is more than the 125% and would continue after I would move to the US with annual increments whereas my fiancé’s income is not enough for 100% on its own.
Can we both complete a form 1-134? I have been told that the London Embassy will accept my income but I am not sure how to present it. Or what he should say on his form?
A form 1-134 with accompanying proof of my incomes ?

I have had differing advice from many others.  As we are older it is harder to get a co-sponsor and as I have enough income why would that be needed? I also have savings ...
It seems that a situation where the beneficiary has sufficient continuing income is unusual and hard to get clear info.  I know for sure my income would be counted later for AOS without my needing to work.
I just wonder if someone else could advise me further

I would use your savings to self sponsor, ask the Consulate what they currently want to see, used to be how much they think you would need for 90 days

confused as even the SSA for retirement meets the proverty guidelines

Social .security retirement is based on years contributed and how high the income of the individual was. It will not necessarily meet the poverty level. Some workers are not on Social Security such as Federal  employees before 1983 or those that have a state Teacher Retirement System, for example. Not every US retired person is going to receive benefits that reach the poverty level.

A K1 in London has a pretty easy time.  The UK fiancé will not complete an I-134. That form is reserved for an American sponsoring.  She should bring evidence of her yearly pension payments but no I134  form. If she has private pensions and a state pension, she might prepare a summary page to make it easy to see the total at a glance.
Retirement Plan name/address________Yearly benefit in £££______Yearly benefit in $$$.

She can also do the same summary sheet for savings/investment accounts along with the latest financial statement(s) that show her account(s).

All the above is called self-sponsoring. There are no hard rules. The officer just needs to be convinced she won’t need to go on the dole in the US. If she would like, she can bring her fiancé’s I -134 and proof of pension statement or a letter from HR to show his income as well.
