It is dependent on the last 5 digits of your receipt number from your NOA1. The number starts with WAX22900….. if your last five digits 39283 for example, you would be part of the 39000 group. Hope this helps. I’m 1/14 and I’m 40000 so I’m guessing you’re some where between 38500 and 40000.

I would think these are K3s. I think some I-130 filers try to use them to speed up their processing. Almost always they get denied.

If you're looking at the total numbers (not daily ones), it's just high compared to approvals because they were denied/rejected from the start. People that filed incorrectly, were ineligible to start with, got the wrong form, didn't pay the right amount, etc.

And I noticed K3s that are approved show as "Case Closed Benefit Received by Other Means". That means the I-130 was approved, so they closed the 129f. Now, I don't know about denied K3s... Maybe it does happen that the I-130 is denied and the 129-f is then also denied at the same time.
