  1. Oh wow that is super early! Ours is at 1pm about 25 minutes from where we live. I'll be sending you all the positive vibes that day!
  2. Thank you so much! Please keep me posted on your interview as well!
  3. See the list above that's what was listed in our notice, pretty sure it's standard for everyone being interviewed. I am also curious what prompts an interview and why others are just approved. I never received and RFE I was really thorough with all our forms and applications. I am also curious why my husband never received his EAD. I wonder if they will base it more on the validity of our relationship or how much money I make. I was also thinking that maybe some states require the interview and others don't based on immigration volumes.
  4. YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH YOU: (Please use as a checklist to prepare for your interview) • This Interview Notice and your Government issued photo identification. • If required, a completed Form-1693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, and/or vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted). Please see the Form I-693 Instructions for guidance on whether you need a complete medical examination, an updated vaccine supplement only, or neither. • If required, a completed Form I-864, Affidavit(s) of Support, with all required evidence (unless already submitted). 5. We received our I-797C NOA in the mail today! Our AOS interview is scheduled in Rhode Island on May 30th so that gives us plenty of time to prepare and get all the necessary documents together. Hopefully we won't even need half of what they are asking we bring but I am brining as much evidence as possible so there are no hang ups and everything goes as smooth as possible. WISH US LUCK!
  6. Thank you! I appreciate your feedback! Since I received the update I have been digging up as much information as possible as far as what to expect, what to bring and what questions to be prepared for. I am anxious to get the notice and have a date. Hopefully everything will go smooth for us and he will be approved!
  7. UPDATE: I never uploaded any additional documents but just now I received an update through the tracking app I use on my phone: 'I-485 AOS Interview Was Scheduled' They are sending us a notice in the mail with information about the interview. I am not sure if this is good or bad, I see many approved GC without interviews. Has anyone here attended an AOS interview? Our I-765 EAD still states 'Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken' I thought for sure we would have movement on this before AOS.
  8. I appreciate the suggestions! I just doubled checked my saved copy of our application and we selected "yes" and answered all the sections. Do you think I should just randomly upload evidence without them reaching out or sending and RFE? Would a most recent paystub be enough?
  9. It is comforting to know I am not alone in this! Thank you for sharing your info with me, hope your RFE is something easy and you will have your approvals in no time!
  10. I put in a case inquiry and checked processing times for our I-765 and I-485 to be told that our case is still within normal processing times. I asked Emma to speak with a LIVE CHAT agent and even though it took some persistence I got through to an agent, who basically told me the same thing. The last time I spoke with the LIVE CHAT we saw some movement on our case, so I am hoping for the same result. I pleaded with the woman and told her that most October applicants have already received EAD. She told me she cannot compare one case to another. Hopefully something comes of this. I just want to move forward to the next step 🤞
  11. I don't even know what to do anymore, I feel like our case has been left on the back burner AGAIN! It's been 69 days since our case status has been updated saying "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken" 1/10/24 Is there anything we can do to get things moving? I feel like we should have heard something by now. My husband not being able to work is kiiling me financially we are just barely getting by with my income. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
  12. Thank you for your insight, it's just been hard to navigate this process, the wait for our K1 visa was longer than most (663 days) so I just get frustrated thinking we have been put on the back burner again. Hopefully we will get some much needed updates soon!
  13. Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well....we are looking for advice. Everyone here seems to be moving along in the EAD and AOS process and ours is still in "finger prints received" from our biometrics appointment that was a month ago. Feeling a bit lost. I submitted an inquiry and was told our case is not outside of normal processing time. Any advice? Anyone else still in this phase? Thanks!
  14. We JUST received our Biometrics appointment letter in the mail today. Can anyone here tell us what we might expect at the appointment? We are visiting the USCIS office in Cranston Rhode Island is anyone has been through there already we would appreciate your feedback!
  15. Hello, hope everyone here is doing well and making progress on AOS! Just reaching out for some insight...we filed for AOS & EAD on 10/4 and our NOA1 for both was 10/23. So far we haven't received any updates. Is this normal? Do I need to submit and inquiry? Some October couples have already had biometrics and/or received EAD at this point... I check my case tracker every day hoping for movement, but nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  16. UPDATE: We received a text confirmation from USCIS with a new case number on Monday. I entered this number into the 'Case Tracker' app for real time updates while we wait for NOA1 in the mail. Took a little over 2 weeks.
  17. Thanks for the info, I see you, as well as other members receive NOA1 after only 2 days that's why I was starting to get concerned. Hopefully I won't have to wait the full 30 days and send an inquiry. Sadly, we have already endured a 'visa journey' longer than most.
  18. Tracking says it arrived at the Chicago lockbox on Saturday October 7th. (9 days ago) Any idea when we can expect our NOA1? I thought we would have heard something by now... Thanks in advance
  19. I don't see a timeline for you. Have you tried sending NVC a public inquiry to ask for your case number? Sorry if this is redundant.
  20. Good to know, it's only 3 days difference and had they kept our original appointment it wouldn't even be an issue. We had an RFE in January of this year and had to submit new letters of intent, I have copies of these for him to take to the interview. Do you think we should make a completely new one? Thank you, it's a relief knowing it's FINALLY booked (our timeline says 663 days after NOA1) so hopefully no one has to wait as long as we have!
  21. Do NOA2's expire? On Wednesday I scheduled my partners K1 visa interview for the earliest available appointment in Guayaquil, Ecuador which was June 21st, 2023. Today we received an email that our appointment had been moved to June 26th. (I thought this was a little strange but it's only a few days difference.) Only concern I have is our NOA2 says valid from 2/23/23 - 6/23/23 will we have any issues during our interview because of this? Thanks for your guidance!
  22. Damn so the consulate in Ecuador emailed us today and let us know they changed out interview date from June 21st to June 26th. Good thing we didn't book travel plans yet!
  23. Our interview is scheduled for June 21st! 2 months from tomorrow. They let me pick the date, but only had 4 dates to choose from. Now to get all the documents in order and get his medical exam booked. I can't believe we are finally at this stage! I am going to visit him for a fourth time in just a little over a month to celebrate my 40th birthday 🥳
  24. Our case is ready as of today! We are going to fill out the DS-160 first thing in the morning! So excited!!
