Sent my wife's I-751 package on 1/19/22 via USPS Priority Express. USPS confirmed delivery on 1/21. Wife received text message from USCIS this morning 1/25 and assigned a receipt number beginning with WAC.

Welcome to the thread! January filers are starting with a  bang it seems!

Hello everyone, we are finishing up our packet and hopefully mailing tomorrow. I have few questions and was hoping I could get some opinions.

Do we need to fill all empty fields on the i-751 form with n/a? I remember our lawyer said nothing can be empty. Does that mean we write n/a everywhere, for example, my husband cannot remember and we cannot find the uscis account number, do we just write n/a? or leave blank?  And it asks for our twins A number but they were born in the usa, so do we write n/a or leave blank?

Also, is it ok to mail everything inside a binder? Like this?

Thank you all so much!

I can only speak as to the "leaving everything blank" part of this, but we did not put N/A on every blank, and we had no problem.  We got our case # today.  I don't think you have to put N/A on every single blank.

@Yannary

They rescinded that rule awhile back about no blank boxes, however I used N/A on my 751 too. I did it for my own peace of mind. So to answer your question no you don't  have to.  Give yourself every chance for success the first time is my motto, thus I used the N/A where applicable. As far as the binder USCIS specifically states to do not use binders, they are looking for ease of disassembly. Will they reject your packet cause it's in a binder no they won't, but they prefer you did not use them. Look at the examples of assembled packets in this thread try something like that. Ultimately it's up to you! Come back and let us know when you've mailed out your packet. Don't  forget to make two copies of the entire packet! Welcome to the thread.

USCIS does not like binders. They do like you to punch two holes at the top and use an ACCO clip to hold it all together.  Here are the form filing tips from their website:  https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/form-filing-tips#:~:text=In preparing your,your supporting documentation.

Filed I-751 the other day, notice by UPS it has been received today in Phoenix, AZ. Received by: PONTE. However, it says 'Left at: Dock', should this concern me?

I have photos of my packet showing that I addressed it per the exact address on the USCIS website for UPS Deliveries. I also have the tracking and UPS receipts etc. showing the address and it all matches the website. Any advice? I was on the tail end of the 90 days submitting it, cause well..life. But, it was still sent and 'received' a several weeks before my GC is due to expire. So, I am already running high on anxiety. Any advice is appreciated.

Just a update for anyone following: I got a text from USCIS today saying my packet been received and mailed confirmation to follow! Yay!

Hi,

My petition was delivered, how long after USCIS receives your application do you get notice that they have received it?

They have been running a little fast this month or at least for us January filers. When was your packet delivered?

Haha thank goodness! I think we all will always go through those stages of stress and anxiety whenever its time to file again! I appreciate the support and reassurance from everyone on this forum though! Its nice to have a network of people going through the same! Thank you.

I'm thinking that we should all (January 2022 filers) follow each others timeline. I follow everyone in this thread , so I get a message when anyone updates their timeline. That way I can see and estimate how fast or slow my case might be running in relation to others that have filed in January 2022. It's  a great tool!

Sent my application on the 18th got delivered on the 20th but unfortunately didn’t file the text notification form so I’m wondering how long to get the hard copy in the mail. Thank you everyone!
