Fam, I need help.

If the processing date for 485 is past my receipt date, how do I open a query for my case? Can I do it online or do I have to write Vermont again? Thank you all!

Which is your local field office and when did you file i485.   In the uscis processing time website there is a link to file an out of processing time case, I would also recommend you writing to your congressman regarding this delay,

FO is Milwaukee. Right now they are at 8/27 mine is 9/3 so I am expecting it will go out of processing next week. So I should reach out to congressman instead? I know there is an online tool to raise if your case is out of processing however given that we are VAWA I don't know if I can use online or have to write to Vermont again.

yes it might go out of processing time next week, what you said is true, if you do an online out of processing claim they will send you a mail to your address telling you to write to vermont, and once you write to vermont they take so long to reply, i would advise as soon as your case goes out of processing time write your congressman, my i485 was sent on dec 17 2018, my local office Queens is processing cases on nov 24 2018, so I am also tracking this processing time to take action, let me know how it goes, God bless us

I filed in March 2020 for i485, when does it start counting, is it from the 360 approval or from the March 2020. Also, under the processing time, am I checking under the family based? VAWA was approved this October 13, 2021

some people say it starts counting since vawa was approved, but I dont know how it starts counting on that date -which date do they compare to know how is you processing time.  I think the date starts counting from the receipt date of your i485, you should be looking under family based.

If your I-485 is still pending, then yes you can file for a renewal of your EAD using form I-765.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

What if the I485 is with another USCIS office (not Vermont)

Once you file for VAWA, it gets transferred to Vermont

Actually I was thinking about that too, Do people sue immigration officers at all?

I am having the VAWA interview, and I was thinking what happens when they start asking questions not related to the I 485, like the VAWA case.

Probably nothing happens to them, but was just wondering if people ever sue IO lol 😆

In my interview, the IO did not specifically ask about the physical abuse, but asked about the financial abuse and the threats of deportation.  Refusal to give me my SSN and GC.
