We were reviewed. Our submit date was Sept. 30th. Every civil and financial document was accepted, except my tax return. It didn't say why other than it was "incomplete or missing parts". It is my full tax return that my accountant prepared as a PDF...not even a scanned copy. I am so confused.

I received a message in the inbox that said "tax return" in the subject line asking me to re-upload my tax return. I thought the message subject line was supposed to say "Case FE Review note"? Is this difference significant? Will this push me to the back of the queue again?

Case FE Review would typically ask for a new document that you haven't already uploaded, but you can get a message through from an agent asking for a re-upload etc.

Once you upload and submit anything, you go to the back of the queue - the best thing you can do right now is phone USCIS to ask for clarification on what they want you to upload, and get it submitted asap to cut your future wait time. My opinion of course, possibly someone else has a different view.

DQ’d last night. I had resubmitted something like a few days ago however looks like they're moving. 1st set of items submitted I believe 09/02/2021 added more documents in October & November. No expedite request. Now the wait of interview letter.

Just curious, when you added something, did you press the submit documents button again?
I'm worried I screwed up my submission date because I pressed this button after uploading "other" documents.

My original submission date was October 20th so I was hoping to finally hear back.

Yes you have to push the submit documents button. If what you added dates uploaded next to it then that means you haven’t submitted it to NVC. It must say submitted. Also, to be honest I have heard so many different things…some people say every time you submit something you get put at the end of the queue but then I have seen many people upload “other docs” and it doesn’t affect their original submission date. I know that’s not a clear answer but so many times things are supposed to be one way and then they are the complete opposite with this process. Fingers crossed you stay on your original submission date!

Hey guys

has anyone had any issues with the ds-260 form?

it’s giving me a red flag for my passport number and I’m a 100% sure that it’s correct, due to this im not able to sign and submit the form. Any suggestions guys?

printed my tax return transcripts from IRS website. Looks like they are masked. Is it okay to submit them or should I request unmasked version through mail?

also, if I am just using my income (w2 and 1099) for wife’s immigration, can I use the 864EZ form instead of 864? Does me having 1099 disqualify me from filing 864EZ form?

Appreciate your help!
