Has anyone ever gotten their interview scheduled at the US embassy in Manila for IR5 visas? I have been Documentarily Qualified since May 27th. I am just wondering if anyone else is on the same timeline as I am.

Thank you.

US Embassy Manila did 67 IR5 cases in July 2021. Source: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html

Unfortunately, there is no information how long ago these cases were DQ'd.

Looks like just over 200 in February 2020 which would be the last full month before the shutdown. May 2021 was 16 so it looks like USEM has picked up a little bit.

OP, if you know how long it was taking for an interview in Feb 2020 and then look at the above link and look at the numbers month by month, you can probably infer what the current backlog is and develop some kind of estimated timeframe.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Agreed, someone with the motivation and time to look through all the files and make a simple graph could make an educated guess when they can expect an interview... Assuming that USEM continues or increases its current interview rate.

I filed for my parents IR5 on June 2019, got DQ on June 2020, and then got scheduled for the interview on November 12. They both have the same appointment time.
