I always have a hard time with these cases. I support the owners not wanting to host a gay wedding if it's against their religious beliefs, the same as if they did not allow alcohol 

 

I also dont agree with discriminating  against Gay people because of the sexual preference they were "in most cases" born with. Which right wins. I dont know if there is a good answer.

 

In this case I might lean toward the couple, because they are not doing it at the market but at their own property. If the refused to serve Gay people at the market, it would be a no brainer. 

 

Really tough to decide when two basic freedoms go head to head

Except those stores not requiring a mask, at least a short while back, did not exist in many places in the US.  And sadly, those stores which dropped the requirement may soon reinstate it.

 

Personally, I like it the way it is now.  Actually, the way it has ALWAYS been.... wear a mask if you want.  Or don't.

Not really.  It's about the current "powers that be" taking away rights & freedoms from everyone who doesn't agree with them.  Why do we try to force people to accept things or do things they don't want to?  How is that in ANY way right?

i for the life of me cant figure out why people hate someone because of their sexuality.

 

I was in a Sunday School class one time. About 80 single Adults. The teacher kept talking about the Gay communities was on marriage. I raised my hand. I said "everyone that is divorced pleas stand up" about 90% did. I then said if a gay person caused your divorce please remain standing, otherwise please have a seat. Not one person remained standing. Needless to say I got put on the "prayer" Gossip list.

It goes both ways though.  Why is there no "straight pride" month?  Why do straight people (for the most part) not go around trying to push their sexual preferences in others' faces?  Who cares???  What you do in the bedroom, kitchen, or the Taco Bell bathroom with your gender of choice doesn't affect me.  I don't care.  You do you.

 

But if you happen to NOT find such activity palatable, and refuse to help celebrate it, you are now a third-class citizen who needs to be persecuted?  WHY???

 

I don't care what your sexual preference is... straight, gay, bi, animal.  Do what you want.  But don't try to impose your beliefs on me, in ANY way.  If I refuse to bake a cake for someone, that simply means I don't want to bake a cake for them.  Shop around among those who DO support your particular lifestyle.  Why does everyone in the world need to conform to your preferences?

 

Or put another way... I (and the vast majority of people I associate with) don't persecute gays, why are gays being allowed to persecute those who are straight?
